my wife and myself took our 2 young grand daughters to the peeping tom for tea and a treat. The service was very quick and friendly. The children loved the food and the eldest grand daughter decided she wanted spare ribs. It looked big but she ate the lot as it was very tender and tasty. The little one had the childs meal and she ate the lot too. it was a good choice.

I have been with family many times, and although sometimes busy, they do their best to accomodate you, food is always good, and hvae a lovely garden/play area for kids and adults,
can easily spend an afternoon in their, and with the footy or other sports on tV, this always a nice distraction
only minor negative is the new pool table is not really required, and in way of nice seating area arond TV,
i would reccommend any family to go and try it

Overall, lovely. All staff were friendly and polite, and we got our drinks straight away, which is more than could be said for the food. We waited at least half an hour in the pretty much empty pub before our meals were finally served to us. We enjoyed our food however some small things did let them down, the chicken was tough and the steaks could've been served on sizzler plates. It's very much a friendly, community pub, and I would be happy to return :) Yum :3

Visiting from Australia we attended here via escort from our relatives in Coventry. There were 7 of us and were looking very forward to a Sunday lunch here. When we arrived we saw plenty of empty tables, however we were turned away before these were already pre booked.

Given that there were seven of us, you'd expect that they would make some reasonable attempt to gain our business, however we were turned away with no ETA on when we were able to sit down.

Understand that good places need to be booked, but on a Sunday when it's the busiest day of the week, if I was running is joint, it wold be first in, first serve. For every empty table, there is money not going into the till.

Have visited The Peeping Tom twice before and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

Went for Sunday lunch, the Carvery was available and with hindsight it may have been a better choice.
For starters we shared the vegetarian combo consisting of peppers and mushrooms battered and fried along with breaded mushrooms and onion rings one piece of garlic bread and lattice potatoes.
Now the batter was delicious and indeed the starter was lovely.
main course arrived I had chicken kiev my brother had pork chops. The kiev was fine exactly what you would expect. The pork chops were disappointing they looked like scrags off the end of a loin they were smothered in a viscus sauce and served with chips not mash as described.

The staff are friendly and want to please. I note that the menu has changed since my last visit so perhaps asking for anything other than the carvery causes a problem on a Sunday.

The carvery looks amazing what a shame the remainder of the menu does not seem to live up to that.
All in all the Peeping Tom is a lovely pub and does a fantastic Carvery, we will visit again as it is a super place.
