We stayed in a hotel that included hot, order to cook, breakfast. grandma was takes long so miss breakfast and found Carrows for a very late breastfast which turned out great. It was a little after 11am when we got there. They had a very good price for breakfast before 11am. When I asked if we can still get the before 11am price they were happy to honor it. Woo hoo! $4 for a full hot breatfast!

Our waiter was great with my toddler and was patience when my mom couldn't decided what to order for breakfast. The rest of us place our order before my mom. When our waiter was on her break, she still came by our table twice to make sure we were doing ok. I thought that was nice of her.

The food at Carrows were good and better than a Denny's restaurant. The restaurant was clean and so was the ladies bathroom. They don't have baby changing table, but the manager said I could use the back seating area (not being used) for some privacy. I used my traveling changing pad to makes sure littleone (and especially her tooshie) doesn't touch the bench were I was changing her... lucky it was only #1, not #2.

My toddler was walking around the restaurant after breakfast to check things out. The staff were nice to her and told her which area she couldn't explore. The way they spoke to her were very nice and I appreciated their approach.

I would go back to this restaurant because of their staff and quality of food.

Terrible food and service. undercooked sausage that tasted like fish. slow service couldnt even understand what the guy was saying. Our bill included a fish dinner when no one order fish, explains the sausage.. The manager fixed the bill took off the sausage but said that the fish dinner price was the same as our beef dinner, so didnt change that. Late that night the beef came back to haunt us. So very sad Carrows used to be at least ok to eat at.

We spent a night in South Shore this weekend, and since the Carrow's shared a parking lot with our motel, we went in for lunch after we had checked in. The restaurant was nearly empty. Perhaps four tables were occupied. Nevertheless, we waited several minutes to be seated. After we'd looked at the menu and decided what we wanted to order, we started waiting for someone to take our order, or at least to bring water, offer coffee, or in some way acknowledge our existence. There were two wait staff on duty, and we watched them bus other tables for some time. I tried to establish eye contact and smile, hoping that one of them would acknowledge us in some way. "I'll be with you in a couple of minutes," would have been fine, but instead they both seemed to be pointedly ignoring us. At one point, one of the two spent a few minutes chatting to the folks in a booth next to ours, who had finished their meal. I figured after the chat she'd finally establish contact with us, but instead she walked away without looking in our direction.

Let me be clear. This is a Denny's kind of a place, a place you expect to be in and out of in a relatively short time.

After about fifteen minutes, I began to wonder if they weren't waiting on us because of my husband's "Marriage Equality" T-shirt. Even if that wasn't the case, I have never experienced worse customer service. When we finally got up to leave without having ordered, I told the folks at the cash register why we were leaving. (They were chatting to each other because, as I've mentioned, the restaurant was nearly empty.) They didn't seemed bothered at all, and silently watched us leave.
