We rented this cottage as our base to explore the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National Park and were not disappointed. The location is perfect for exploring the southwestern part of Ireland. The views from the second floor are beautiful (weather permitting) and the surroundings are really peaceful and quiet (except when the neighbors free roaming sheep pay a visit). The only drawback is the relatively humid and damp environment on the bottom floor, which is a perfect habitat for isopods and spiders (our toddler tried to eat them).
