We have just come back from a short stay in Axat and loved every minute of it! Paul and Val made us feel incredibly welcome, and by the end of our stay we felt we were old friends who had known one another for three years and not just three days! The atmosphere is warm and relaxed at the B&B, the food scrumptious, and our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Paul and Val go out of their way to help you and make you feel part of "the Aux Quatre Saisons family". You want an idea for where to eat locally? Val will not only suggest somewhere, phone up and book a table for you, she'll even take you there! When you come back from a walk, Val offers you a cup of tea (or a glass of wine, depending on the time of day) - nothing is too much trouble! Just one word of warning: do not, repeat NOT, go here if you are looking for mundane run-of-the-mill food out of a microwave: you will be sadly disappointed. If, on the other hand, you love home cooking at its best, then Paul's food and wine will not disappoint. Thank you so much, Paul and Val - we can't wait to visit you again soon.
