This small place is amazing, so peaceful, spotless clean, and the owners Larry and Tongbai can't do enough for you.The breakfast is a must, we had the big breakfast 1 day, and poached eggs the next, both were lovely.Would def stay here again, and recomend it to friends.

This is a wonderful little B&B in a secluded little paradise village. The beach is absolutely heaven with long white palmtree-lined beach and turqouise water. And we were quite alone on the beach - only two local thai children fishing and then our family. Fantastic!
Each day started with a dip in the pool before a great home made breakfast with wonderful home made youghurt (we ate the entire storage and thus had to content with "normal yoghurt" on the last day) on the family's porch. Our two small kids fed their pancakes to the dogs under the table while we enjoyed coffee and chatted with the family.
After breakfast we took our beach towels (bring your own) and the beach lounge chairs that belonged to the room and walked to the beach where we would just relax until lunch. There are two nice and very cheap restaurants on the beach where we would eat both lunch and dinner.
The family was very nice and friendly and, as they all spoke English, we got a lot of help and recommendations on interesting sights in the area. They also arranged a great outing to the nearby island Koh Thalu for a redicuously low price. For a total of 1200 Baht our family of two adults and two small kids were picked up by a driver, supplied with life jackets (even the 1 year old baby) and high quality snorkelling gear, given water, a nice lunch, fresh fruit, and taken on a 4-hour snorkelling trip to Koh Thalu.
The only down side with the B&B were the old curtains in the rooms that made the entire room smell old and stale.
Otherwise, the Palm Gardens was a wonderful place in a small secluded village by a fantastic beach. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Thailand.

Just spent a very enjoyable week here (it was originally going to be 2 nights but we liked it so much we stayed longer). The grounds are very well kept with a huge inviting swimming pool. There are only 4 rooms and they are very spacious, immaculate and modern (fridge, flat screen & good air con). The bed was huge and super comfy with a proper blanket. I'd say it was one of our favourite places to stay in the whole of Asia; having recently been through Cambodia/Vietnam and Laos - high praise I know but it really was that good. Make sure to check out the menu, we did extensively and was all great homemade fayre from East and West - the breakfasts were pretty special. It's in a lovely secluded location amongst coconut trees and only a stones throw from the beach and various bars/eateries. To top it all off, Larry & his family are really nice and welcoming, they're very laid back and eager to advise or give any help you need. They even took our bags back to the train station for us as we only had our rented Honda Dream for transport. If you're in the area this one's a must!!!!

Room Tip: Room 1 for better wifi connection

Bang Saphan is a wonderful place to visit. We have just returned from spending a couple of days there and will return for sure. In Bang Saphan we stayed at Palm Gardens and loved it!!
We arrived very late at night and Larry, the owner of the resort, came to pick us up far away from town for free. We were supposed to arrive at 9:00pm, but after various delays arrived much later at 1:00 am. Larry and his wife were already at the bus stop to pick us up. From the beginning they were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that we had. We only stayed a couple of days, so we wanted to visit as much as possible and they provided us with everything we needed. They have a car, scooters and bicycles for rent, so we were able to quickly move around and visit everything we wanted. The resort is extremely well located and very close to the beach. There are nice restaurants around, but don’t worry they will help you find anything you need and they also provide food if wanted. They offer a wonderful breakfast that we enjoyed a lot, as we are currently living in Thailand and miss having a good “European Breakfast”.
The resort has beautiful rooms that are very spacious, bright and very clean. Each room has a terrace and the resort has a very nice pool. The resort is small (only 4 rooms), which we loved as it is not crowded and gave us privacy. Because the resort is small, the owners have time for their guests and really thought about every detail to make the stay perfect (eg: each room has sun chairs for the beach). As we had little time, Larry also organized a tour to Kho Talu for us. That was great as well and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, as he took care of everything. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will return!!!! Larry and his wife are extremely carrying people and made our stay perfect. We really felt at home and managed to relax and forget about our daily life.
We definitely recommend this place and you will not regret staying there.
Thank you so much for the wonderful time and hopefully see you soon again…
