“Remote Location!”
Reviewed 14 July 2011

The hotel itself is very beautiful, but they do not manage it correctly!

The food is average for a five star deluxe property! Spaghetti are usually dry and desserts were almost the same every second day. I noticed that staff is quite confused with contradictory orders by the management. Obviously, employees have some problems and if you gain their trust they can easily get open!

The worst part was the shows. Belly dancing, fakir show and discordant singer disturb the tranquility of the lovely scenery.

Under these circumstances, I cannot recommend Atrium Prestige although it certainly has the infrastructure to be a great destination!

Tip: If you choose Atrium Prestige for your vacation, get in contact with Katerina. She is a very helpful guest relations manager!

first, let me start by saying just how impressive the hotel is upon arrival, a miriad of pools and waterfalls and the most amazing sea view from the lobby, in continuation from this the rooms didnt disapoint, "starlight" above the bath, perfect seaview all adds to loveliness of this property..

unfortunatly that where the fun stops... i was recomended this hotel by friends who stayed thier last summer and was told of tales about the most amazing breakfast buffet, sumptios dinner buffet and fast friendly service, this just wasnt the case, the food for breakfast(when there was actually any on the buffet) was cold, dry and generally bad quality, the fruit was awfull, not what i would expect from a mediteraenean country, and dinner buffet the same, lack of variety, lack of freshness and lack of quality, either my friend doesnt know about good food , or the standards have seriously gone backwards from last year,
as for the service it was clear to see that there was a serious shortage of staff resulting in poor service, the staff them selves were very friendly and tried thier best..it just wasnt enough. also it was obvious that the equipment wast enough, with glasses being washed and then served infront of us at the bar

its a shame that this beautiful hotel doesnt have a general manager who can run it properly, otherwise it could be one of the best in greece

The hotel and grounds are stunning and very well looked after. We had a sea view room with infinity pool which was excellent.
The location is remote and you definately need a car if you wish to see the rest of the island, it would be ideal if the hotel provided a shuttle bus into Lindos and Rhodes, we went to Rhodes on public transport, there is only one bus a day which left at 845am took 2 hours to get there and then returned at 430pm.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the main dining room appeared understaffed a couple of the evenings but staff like Nikkos and Morfo made extra efforts to make sure we were well looked after.
We were half board, we were a little confused when given a menu to choose from for the main course and then told to help ourselves from the buffet. The food was good although small portions served for main course, not too much of a problem as long as you had buffet as well. One small point the buffet was always luke warm.
English speaking TV consisted of 3 channels, BBC world news, CNN and one movie channel which showed the same 3 fims every day for 2 weeks, this definately needs improving.
Overall we had a great holiday and the negative points raised are areas which could easily be improved and didn't spoil our time there.

PROS: (1) wonderful rooms with private pool, (2) right on the sea, (3) super silence, (4) flowers everywhere, (5) wonderful view, (6) near to prassonissi where i enjoyed my best windsurfing ever..perfet location for peolple that has to accomodate family and needs to be nearby prassonissi for windsurfing just 15km nearby, (7) super convenient price for the service and quality
CONTRAS: not much really...
(1) you can just accomodate 2 people and 1 child in one room ..so if u have a 4 people family (like me) you need to rent 2 rooms and split 1 adult and 1 child..mmm .. (or u can take the small house..fantastic small villas, with multiple rooms and spectacular sea view...but be ready to invest a lot of money .. villas are super (a friend of mine was there the same week so ..trust me ...they are super);
(2) some slow service of waiters (some slow motion/unorganized service..but waiter staff was seasonal personnel so...relax u r in greece ),
(3) some slow wifi connection in peak hours (too many people connected since it is free and everywhere active in the hotel, so look at the bride side it s free and available!!)
(4) you definitely need a car... it is away from any urbanised life form...so get a car and move around!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent visit. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Indeed, the hotel offers the ultimate escape for relaxing holidays. I personally agree that Prasonisi is the best area on the island for windsurfing along with the fabulous beaches the South East coast has. A true paradise. We wish to welcome you again next summer! I have just returned from the staying a week at the Atrium Prestige on a room and breakfast only basis. This was my second visit and I am sad to say it wasn’t the hotel I fell in love with last year. The hotel is still breathtaking, the rooms lovely, but the service has changed due to lack of staff, and low staff morale.

All the staff work very hard and were friendly, I could see they were working flat out, often the waiters ‘ran’ to the kitchen to get what we asked. They always put a smile on their faces and when you ask them how they were they would say ‘fine‘, but you can see by the work load they were not.. I observed an overly aggressive manager in the dining room. A gentleman came into the dinning room in the mornings and would shout at the staff, the staff were affected by this man who I gather is upper management as he isn‘t in the hotel daily. I had a conversation with another couple who saw him on the previous morning shouting at his staff, they also said how uncomfortable they felt and ‘what’s his problem’. We felt sorry for the staff.

The wonderful breakfasts I remember were no more. Last year the service was superb, our waiter even changed our cups for our second cup of tea, he watched how we liked things and every day he would anticipate our needs, truly 5 star treatment. This year I watched as the staff were overwhelmed by the number of guests they had to attend to. The food ran out constantly, and a lot of people were ‘hanging around’ waiting for the food to be replenished,. What has happened to the 5 star service of last year? Has the management changed?

The hotel is in a lovely location if you want to stay somewhere far away from the maddening crowds. I would definately suggest hiring a car to make your holiday more enjoyable. The hotel is offering car hire for 10 euros a day with certain packages which is a great deal and will enable you to visit local villages where the welcome is always warm and the food is traditional.

I will try the hotel again next year and hope the service of last year will returns to this very beautiful hotel.

Stayed in mid Jne for a week. We travel loads to all sorts of places and were looking for a relaxing luxury holiday away from tourist traps. This place had it all - good rooms, great views all of the sea, pools everywhere and the sea below us and the hotel itself was gorgeous. It was out anniversary and we were given complimentary champagne and fruit basket. We only ate once there which was good, but we prefered to try out local restaurants around it, and found some lovely little fish places in a few villages surrounding it. You do need a car if this is your option. We thought my watch had been stolen, but they found it and couriered it back to us at no cost (a Tag which could have easily just gone into someones pocket). Overall a lovely, relaxing enjoyable holiday. Couldn't fault any of it......................... hope you enjoy

This was a great hotel!
The room was lovely and the view from the glass fronted balcony was fantastic!
It is a remote hotel so you do need a car but once you have this ,the hotel makes a great base. It is also close to the best windsurfing area on the island.
All the staff are very helpful and will try there best to assist you in what ever you ask them.
On a night time the hotel looks magical with all the lights on and won't fail to wow!
We will go back to this hotel as are holiday was fab !
