“2 Night Stay”
Reviewed 8 September 2013

We Stayed a few weeks ago for 2 nights whilst visiting friends in the area and will certainly be staying again. The location is great tucked back from the main road however close enough to walk down to Topsham and also very easy to jump on a bus in to Exeter to save parking hassles. The room was in excellent condition and kept clean to a high standard, even though I said don't worry about sorting the room out Carol still sorted out and made the beds. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was very nice. The hosts were great, you could not have asked for anymore.
Will certainly be back, Marcus and Sarah.

Room Tip: We were in the Downstairs double room, very nice views over the fields. Only downside is you heard t...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay, Room was excellent and breakfast freshly cooked to order and the Collingwoods very helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our car and walk into Topsham to visit family. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here while visiting family in Topsham who were temporarily unable to accommodate us. We had the upstairs family room (as the two ground floor rooms were taken) which was very spacious and, like the bathroom, spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast superb and nothing was too much trouble. We had a peek at the other two rooms as we passed and they look to be very good as well. There is some traffic noise from the M5 flyover but even though we slept with the windows open this did not disturb us at all. What we did notice was the smell of bacon drifting in the next morning which I think is a subtle ploy to get you out for the day as it drove us to get up and hurry downstairs to have some!!!

I had a short but pleasant stay at this B&B for a family wedding. Carol was a great host, serving up a nice cooked breakfast and giving me a few tips on how to get around the area on foot. The B&B is located walking distance from the station - very handy for me as I had an early train to catch the day after the wedding! I had a spacious, clean room with a view over the fields for a very reasonable price. I wish I could've stayed longer!

We stayed for one night in this lovely bed and breakfast. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating for our little girl. A great room and breakfast. Perfect location with a 15 minute walk into Topsham. Quiet setting even though it's not far from the m5, tranquil view overlooking a field. A very relaxing stay, thank you!

Room Tip: We chose the double room into which our travel cot fit with lots of space remaining.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights from 15-16 March. Carol and Derek couldn't do enough for us, it was home from home. The rooms are cosy and clean, and the breakfast is excellent. This is great value for money. The location is very good, it's a 10 minute walk into Topsham and there is a bus stop directly outside which takes you into Exeter. Definitely would stay again and have recommended it to friends.
