5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014 via mobile

Myself an three other friends stayed here the night before a dear friends Funeral in Asse, I found it on trip advisor three days before we left England and I took the reviews as my only reference.
Well we could not of had a better choice the welcome ( in perfect English) was exceptionally professional and warm.
The owner showed us to our rooms which we had asked to be on the ground floor as one of our party was a little unsteady on his feet and sure enough the rooms were perfect! Very comfortable beds massive walk in showers separate wc and lovely clean fresh cotton linen.
Inside this converted Brewery lovely timber beams we abundant and one of our party commented on how they managed with such high ceilings how not to have one cobweb? But that was the whole place totally immaculate throughout .
As we had been traveling for a few hours we asked for tea and the owner was very obliging in bringing us four individual pots made with proper tea leaves something you don't see much of nowadays.
We reserved a table in their very nicely appointed restaurant for the evening.
I will keep this brief the food and wine we ate and drank that evening was worthy of a top London restaurant with more than one star just outstanding!!
If you stay and you are a foodie eat in their restaurant you will not be disappointed, perfectly cooked fresh and served we could not fault it amazing and about a third of the price you would pay in London !!!
Breakfast was of the same standard with endless buffet choices and eggs and bacon if desired.
I travel many times to Europe in a year but this place is in my top two for value for money, service and quality and just of the beaten track outside Brussels it doesn't get much better in my experience!
Thank you Hostellerie De Biek you turned what was a somber reason to go to Belgium in to a reason to go back and we will !
See you soon

Great little hotel offering amazing value for money. Modern comfy and immaculately clean rooms. The restaurant is both amazing and amazingly good value for money. My only minor complaint would be no English television channels so pack a book. A good breakfast as well. Can't fault it for the price. Morsel is a tiny village so not a lot going on but convenient if you work in the area.

Room Tip: I had the std room in the attic which is only a single but is quieter as there is no one above you

Stayed here 3 times in the last and will continue too when working in the surrounding area. Great place to unwind. The 2 brothers are really friendly guys, and service & attention to detail is supreme.

Eating in the restaurant is an absolute must, the presentation & quality of food is out of this world.

Keep up the good work guys, & already looking forward to my next visit.

If you want a good bed, sleep in a location that is a bit out of the way but piecefull and quiet, this is your hotel! A done up old farm with all the comforts of home... Recently modernised, good lighting in the hall not too bright if you come from a party in the nearby hall De Snip and need to sleep it off... Breakfast is there with all you want. It's not too much and just right!

Room Tip: Try a room on the ground or first floor... they have more windows and look out on to either the park...

I was very impressed with this hotel . The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. And with a great decor, making use if the original features of the original building but with modern twists. Breakfast selection was good too. It us a shame the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

I have stayed here several nights now and have been impressed with the service every time.
I would not be surprised to see this establishment gain a Michelin Star in the future its that good.
Monday is the Restaurant day off in the Biek as is required by law.Take a Taxi to nearby AAlst where you will be spoilt by choice.Do not let that stop you from visiting.
