“Excellent and unusual”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2013

This was a great find, the place is spotless and well equipped. An unusual arrangement for breakfast where you have a few basics left for you along with the ability to make your own.Rooms have a mini kitchen with a micro wave, I would have preferred a little more choice for breakfast but in truth it really worked and was very convenient.
The rooms are nicely finished with comfortable beds and good bathrooms, it's was a very peaceful setting and just one junction from the NEC
The owners were friendly, everything was exceptionally well presented and clean, the village of Knowle has a good selection of places to eat and Solihull is only a few miles away for even more restaurants.Only things I would have liked is WIFI and a little more wardrobe space,Will book again

Thank you for your review. We are having a fibre optic cable fitted to ensure that the WIFI will give excellent reception so hopefully when you visit us again you will have excellent coverage.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife, it's in a beautiful location within driving distance of Birmingham (20 mins). accommodation faultless, highlights being the comfy bed and excellent shower, didn't want to get out of it, the lady who owns/runs the place is very lovely and helpful, why would you pay double their price to stay in a noisy city centre hotel? you actually can't hear a thing, which if your having a break from kids is wonderful. 2 very small negatives, couldn't get signal or wireless on my phone which is tesco mobile, although my wife's was fine, so if you need your mobile for work or emergencies its worth asking for a chalet where you can get coverage, also we left without paying because i didn't read the booking form properly, on one part of the laterooms.com form it says its deducted from your card automatically, a friendly e-mail from the owner and a phone call rectified this, all in all i would reccomend this place to anybody

Hi both Im glad you enjoyed your stay and it would be a pleasure to have you return one day soon.
We are having the internet connection looked at as we speak so hopefully that will improve and everyone should be able to pick it up from all the chalets regardless of the phone network your on.
Bare in mind it is wireless and the weather does tend to affect the network connection where we are on the farm, just by moving the computer by the window can make a difference on the signal strength but hopefully now we have fitted the booster it should be better. Many Thanks again for your review and see you soon. Take care.

Stayed in chalet 2 in early January. Wanted a peaceful retreat with good walking routes and that's exactly what we got. Owner very friendly and helpful. Accommodation modern and spotlessly clean. Nice to pay that little bit extra for the patio area in chalet 2 as it has lovely views of the fields with grazing horses. Would definitely stay again.

Knowle Country Accommodation is an absolute find, a million miles away from other hotel/pub offerings in the area.

The newly converted chalets are in a rural & peaceful setting. Stylishly kitted out, spotlessly clean and with the benefit of a kitchenette – fridge/microwave/kettle – which for the regular traveller offers a brilliant alternative to eating out.

Moreover the owners, Heather & Tony could not be more helpful in wanting to make sure that your stay is comfortable and that you have all you need.

If you do want to venture out Knowle is only a short drive away and the M42 no more than 10 minutes.

I couldn’t recommend them more, fantastic value for money and a home from home.

Stayed here for one night in December en route to London.

Very pleased with the accommodation (Chalet 1) and service provided (owner phoned on day of arrival to advise that a different (more costly) chalet was available for free upgrade if required).

Free breakfast basic but adequate.

Chalet spotlessly clean and warm, Bed comfy, Cooking facilities handy.

Ideal stopover near NEC / Warwick etc.

Would definitely recommend.

Excellent value for money. We booked in for New Year's eve and could believe the price... £55

The room was compact but beautifully presented. Solid wooden floors, a very comfortable bed with extra pillows in the cupboard. the shower was particularly nice with lovely fluffy towels.

Would gladly stay here again, would be great for a few couples to book in and stay in adjacent chalets.

The only issue was limited signal on the TV and WIFI however as we arrived late and left early there was no time for the owners to rectify this. We were very pleased with their communication with us and feel that had we notified them of this error they would have fixed it promptly.

There was also a well stocked mini-bar and a lovely complimentary breakfast with fruit, 4x tea and coffee, plenty of fresh milk, 4 slices of bread and 2 boxes of cereal.

Overall we were very happy with everything that was provided and would recommend this accommodation to our friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in chalet 5

Hello thank you for your review, yes we would have certainly rectified the signal on the TV and WIFI had we been informed about it and appreciate you saying that you are sure we would have done just that. Hopefully you will be back in 2013 to fully enjoy all the services we offer.
Many Thanks again.
