My parents, my wife and I stayed here for two nights. The rooms were nice, the breakfasts were excellent but the thing that set this hotel apart was outstanding service. My father, who is in his nineties, left a piece of luggage at the airport in Amsterdam. The staff was helpful in getting them delivered to us quickly. The morning of our departure, I had left the inside light on in our van and so we had a dead battery. They called the auto service, gave me a ride to pick up a couple we were to pick up and returned us to the hotel just as the auto service had us ready to go. The hotel is lovely and unique. We'll stay there again.

I didnt stay in this hotel, only had a meeting in the property. It was a great experience having a meeting in an old chapel, yet the hotel was also a former monastery. The gentleman who owns the place was kind enough to give us a show around, that we really liked. The rooms looked cosy, all rooms are different, but newly re-decorated.

There are also a number of meeting/function rooms available for weddings etc. The restaurant served delicious food during our meetings that we all liked. Servers were all attentive, cared about us so much that we can not thank them enough.

An absolute great place to plan a wedding party. Recommended.

We, living in Portugal, invited children - Holland and Finland - and grandchildren to celebrate our both birthday´s - in June, and this year my wife and I are 145 years together, and booked this hotel. Restaurant was good, service excelent, ¨luxe-room ¨ because of ratling windows - stormy weather- very bad, and the promised discount on drinks and food not given. Also missing was - from managment - the gesture of a birthday cake and coffee. We did spend over €2000,00. No respons on our E-mail send to reception . Sorry but we will not do this party there again next year.

Room Tip: The windows in the ¨luxury room ¨ we had were rattling in the strom and the wind was blowing inside...

my first experience in this hotel is not bad, the hotel is very quiet, far from any attraction around (shops, grocery...)
the rooms are small but well cleaned.
The TV is small 14" with color screen!!!
There is no minibar or even a fridge in the room.
In short, this is a typical country side hotel, better be there with some friends otherwise expect to be bored to death.

I'll start with the good, the restaurant is amazing! Good food, good service, great beer. The staff is friendly, the room was comfortable and the hotel exterior is pretty.

The bad: The room was dated, some of the halls were moldy, the hotel could use a power washing. The internet was not fast.

Was there for a week in March on a business trip. I liked so I booked it again in December for a week on another business. The hotel in an old monastery so the buildings are quite special. The rates are good, specially considering the breakfast and Wifi internet included.
The only problem we had was the pillows in the beds. They are bad.
