My family and I called the wonderful Parndana Lodge in the Flinders Chase National Park for five days "Our home". For me it is the best and most wonderful place not only on Kangaroo Island, but of whole Australia. This is really an insider's tip!!! Therefore I only reluctantly tell you about it, because I wished it only belonged to me! There is no TV, no phone, no internet connection and no food store around the corner. You have to bring everything what you like to eat with you. But there is a big refrigerator and everything (pots, pans, cutlery) you need to cook fantastic meals in the lodge. When my family and I were there, it rained for two days cats and dogs. We used this time to play board games and talked, talked, talked. When the sun came out we walked some of the many trails that the Flinders Chase National Park offers. You will see so many animals!!! One day we visited the Kelly Caves and another we made one trip outside the Flinders Chase National Park and were at the Raptor Domain and the Seal Bay (both are extraordinary wonderful places!). We will definitely go back to Parndana Lodge and not only once!!!
