Several rooms, each one designed by a different international artist. We expected a lot and were not disappointed. Don't miss it if you're in the area. However, I believe the famous Giant will be under construction for about 1 year from October 2014 on, so check before you go.

we were part of a tour group taken to this crystal world.
Situated in a huge compound.
No idea about entrance fees, as this was included in our tour.
Just beyond entry point, there is a short lecture about various crystal works kept there, including a crystal work on horse based in udaipur, india.
Following this, there are a series of numbered entrances which one can go through. Some of the works are nice. Most of them are kept in a dark background, so photos may not come good.
can finish seeing them in about 30 - 45 minutes. At the end, you are led to a large hall with crystal jewelry, chains, earrings and showpieces. Minimum rate starting around 25 Euros.
If not interested in buying anything, can finish your routine in around 45 minutes.
A cafeteria attached to it, has tandoori chicken dish as well.
Taps in washbasins have a blue crystal light while water flows, giving a peculiar shine and attraction.
Once you exit outside the terminal hall, vast lawn is seen, where one can rest.
The waterfall with large face is seen within the lawn. Eyes of this are made of crystals.
Towards one corner of lawn, there is small children play area, with climbers and parallel rings.
Not many public transport vehicles we could see around.

What a psychodelic place. Very interesting art peices that make you feel like your in a crazy movie. The outside gardens were my personel favorite. I loved the head water fall you enter the museum by it is very well groomed. Other then that there are a few interesting scuptures around that were pleasent to walk around and at the far back a nice trail up a man made waterfall gives you a beautiful view of the hedge maze.after the museum there is a little cafe where you can purchase refreshments and ice cream and make sure to browse the shop for the best prices on Swarovski crystals.

Swarovski is a famous name the world over, so high expectations, our group from India had from the visit. It started on a good note with wonderful landscaping around the place, well organised tour starting with an introduction. But as one progresses from one to ten or so chambers, the display keeps getting weirder and weirder. On the whole, a mixed experience, not one had hoped for from the Institution, the Swarovsky is. The Shop at the conclusion of the tour appeared the purpose of the whole set up. Prices were, I feel. not any lower than what I see in the showrooms. But none manages to get out without shopping, so vast is the display.

There was no glimpse of how the crystals are produced and shaped.

We arrived into Innsbruck late on a wet afternoon so grabbed an Innsbruck Card and jumped on the 3 pm shuttle bus (25 mins away). What greeted us inside the Crystal World was quite absurd. The best way I can describe it is a multimedia homage to crystals. Sometimes crystals were representative rather than real and some of the rooms didn't even have crystals, which was just weird. We were through the dozen or so room displays/exhibits/performances? in less than half an hour. Definitely not our thing. Seems like a waste of the Swarovski name - would have really enjoyed a history or museum-like experience. I then spent a small fortune in the shop and we really enjoyed the coffee and cake in the cafe, so not a terrible afternoon.
