We stayed here for a faimily holiday and the weather was excellent all week. I am sure this helped greatly as we could enjoy the fields outside the tents, explore the wood down the hill, let our kids roam in the farmyard and enjoy the Devon countryside.
The tents are well equipped and have everything you require. Despite the heat during the day, the tents were nice and cool at night. I would imagine on colder days they could be chilly, but they each have a wood burning stove and thick duvets inside. We also bought along a BBQ so we could cook outside every evening. The pizza's supplied by the farm are excellent and our kids would have been happy to have them every night.
There are plenty of things to do nearby including swimming in rivers, going to tbe beaches or visiitng plenty of attractions.
The owners are very helpful and there is a shop on site where basic provisions such as bread, milk and meat can be bought - in case you wake up and suddenly need a fried breakfast instantly - their morning croissants are also very good.
