“Great cottage and location”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped: hot water, showers, TV and WiFi all very efficient. Quiet and secluded with a pretty garden that got the sun most of the day. The location was perfect for us - the food in the two local pubs (village and Tythersleigh) was excellent and it's an easy car ride to regional attractions. The countryside in the immediate locality is very beautiful.
We can thoroughly recommend this cottage.

“Great cottage centrally located in pretty Devon village”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

A very well appointed cottage with all the amenities you might require. We were staying for Christmas week and the house had been decorated with a small Christmas tree, etc which was lovely.

The sitting/dining room is a very good size. We had we had friends and family over for dinner on two occasions and there was plenty of room. A good space for socialising.

The beds are very comfortable and the shower/bathrooms modern and of a high standard.

A good, central location for walking and for visiting the sights.

“Idyllic”
Reviewed 4 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

This was a last minute booking as we fancied doing something different for New Year. at the outset you could tel from the way the owner (Karen) communicated that this was a well run establishment. The cottage is set in the lovely village of Chardstock which is ideal for country walks and living but also withing reasonable striking distance of the beautiful Devon coast. The cottage itself was very clean, and cosy and is bigger that the photographs would suggest. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. This is a lovely place to stay.
The village has a small and friendly 'local' pub, with good food and within a mile there is the Tytherliegh Arms which is excellent.

So I think Honeysuckle Cottage ticks all the boxes, you won't be disappointed if you spend so time here.

“Beautiful cottage”
Reviewed 13 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed here for a few days and it was wonderful. The cottage is quiet and very homely. We were very impressed by the super comfortable beds and lovely showers. The house has been beautifully renovated. The photos dont do it justice. This is a lovely olace to stay and we will definitely return. The owner Karen was incredibly helpful and flexible to our changing needs. Thanks Karen!

“Excellent, Very spacious, Lovely cottage feel in rural location within pretty village”
Reviewed 24 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Beautiful holiday cottage,we were delighted on arrived to find that the lounge / dining area was so spacious, much bigger than the pictures on the website show. The cottage is really well presented and spotlessly clean!, with everything you need and more, quality equipment / furnishings, reasonably priced for size and quality, great location for beaches, country walks etc., we will definitely rebook.

“Ideal location for visits to South Somerset and Devon”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Honeysuckle cottage is in the quaint village of Chardstock, which has a Post Office and very good pub, the George. The property itself has a very large communal living room which is ideal for a family of three generations, including under fives. Two bedrooms are good sized doubles. The third bedroom is a little small, suitable either for a single adult or two young children. There is a small double pull-out bed in the living room for extra sleeping. The cottage is well equipped and well maintained.
The location is ideal for day trips to South Somerset, Devon and East Dorset. There is much for adults and children to enjoy in the area. The Tytherleigh Arms, in the next village, provides high quality food, but does not take under fives in the Restaurant after 6pm, regardless of how well they are behaved. We found no other restaurant with this restriction.
We enjoyed our stay and would return.

“Super ,spacious cottage close to lovely coastal resorts”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The cottage is a credit to its owners who obviously care about making a home from home. The cottage is very comfortably furnished and surprisingly spacious .It is quietly situated in a small cul de sac and has a nice private garden to the front.Positioned within 20-30 minutes to many very pretty coastal towns, it makes a great base .Two very good local pubs/ restaurants are on hand if you don't fancy cooking and there are some lovely walks from the doorstep.A lucky find and definitely a place to return to.
