Very little choice for vegetarians, other than the ubiquitous Greek salad. They were kind and very attentive to our children, and the risotto was very good, but overall, we found it quite expensive for limited choice.

Tomata is a fun restaurant. It is smaller than a lot of the restaurants around the Sani resort. Once you sit down you are invited to make your own salad. In a basin inset in the table were arugula, lemons, limes, tomatoes and pepper. Surrounding all this in their own little boxes were jars of dried oregano and thyme, good olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I had the moussaka which was delicious. It was topped with a light sauce that included haloumi cheese. Dessert was caramelized figs. MMMMM. The service was excellemt.

We are staying at the Sani Marina Appartments. We have tried several of the restaurants around the marina and decided to try this for lunch.

I have a diary intolerance and asked if they could make a salad without cheese and add something. This apparently was not possible which I could not quite understand why as all prepared.
So we went ahead and ordered a Greek salad x2 (one without cheese) and some seafood kebabs. The Greek salad is not a Greek salad. It is tomatoes, cucumber... Loads of cut up pita breads and on the normal Greek salad runny cheese sauce thing and tapenade. Mine was literally tomatoes cucumber and pita bread!
They give you bread to start with so basically you are filling up on bread.
The kebabs were not seasoned and very bland. So for 55 euros I would not go here as over priced and I would say they need to go back to good old traditional Greek cuisine not try to make it fancy.
The plus side is the waitresses were friendly and the place was very clean but we will not be eating here again.
