“A wonderful September break!”
Reviewed 26 September 2011

This was the perfect mid-september break. Sunshine, less busy but lots of staff. Quality food ranging from fine dining to buffet. Ideal for families but I was able to enjoy the respectful privacy of 'adult only' areas including a luxurious swimming pool. Excellent facilities, (water sports, tennis, volley ball, gymnasium, bars, restaraunts,) and a beautiful marina for ambling and admiring.

Room Tip: Suites on the north side of the marina are perfect for everything.

Had a week at the village with our 11 month old and the whole experience was made by the staff. They are all incredibly positive, happy and helpful. The pools are great and the beach and water very clean/safe.
The marina has about 6 restaurants and the only negative would be that they do get quite full, so book a day ahead (we were unable to eat at the restaurant of our choice twice during our stay).
A special mention to the japanese restaurant "sea you up" which served some amazing dishes!.

This is a perfect holiday resort for those with young children, toddlers or babies. We chose it after reading a review in the Sunday Times and could not have been happier with what we found. Yes, the resort is entirely manufactured including the Marina, restaurants so if you are looking for traditional Greece, then it isn't for you. But if you want high standards, great weather, friendly and attentive staff, great facilities and a safe environment then you will be hard pushed to beat this place.
A standard suite is perfect if you have a little one (or two) and what to have some space to yourself in the evening. Everything is within 10mins walk and the dine-around option on half board gives you plenty of choices over a week in terms of restaurants. What really impressed us was the kids creche with UK qualified nannies on site. We left our little one (just under 3 yrs) with them for two afternoons and he loved it.
So with just over 3hrs from London and a 50min transfer, it's definitely a place we will visit again.

We couldn't fault the last 10 days at Porto Sani Village. The whole place is so well run it felt a little like Disneyland, the hotel, rooms, restaurants, beaches and gardens were spotless. The best part of our stay however was the staff. Everyone seemed to genuinely love small people and would go out of their way to chat and make sure that they were enjoying themselves. One night we saw the waiter in the bar bringing drinks on his tray along with two bottles of warm milk in beakers! If you're a family in need of some stress free holiday time in the sun, swimming in the sea and lazing around the pools we can't recommend this resort enough.

This was our first time to the Sani Resort. We stayed in the standard one bedroom suite in the Porto Sani Village with our 2 children aged 10 and 6. The Sani Resort is a great concept, with the feel of being in a small village rather than a hotel. This is particularly so around the marina, with all the little shops, bars and restaurants on the waterfront. The Porto Sani Village hotel is a beautiful hotel. The facilities, restaurants and bars are as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, but the staff set it apart from many others in this category. Everyone was genuinely friendly with a warm smile on their face, from first thing in the morning to last thing at night. All the staff went out of their way to welcome and help you. This applied equally to our children, who were well looked after wherever we were in the resort. We certainly felt they were just as important to the staff as we were, not just an annoyance that had to be placated to keep the parents happy. The kids club was well run, with varied activities throughout the week to keep both the sporty and arty types happy. All the restaurants we tried (too many to do them all in the 8 days we were there!) were great, with the highlights being Tomata, See You Up and Artemis.
Only two things disappointed me. Firstly, the same food and drinks cost less in the Sani Beach Club than they do at PSV. I guess the rationale is, if you can afford to pay more for the hotel room, you can afford to pay more for your drinks! However, when it's easy to move around the resort and try out the other options, it's very easy to work out what's going on. Secondly, although we had plenty of space in our suite, one of the beds for the children in the living room was the sofa. We had thought it would be a sofa bed, but actually they just put a sheet and blanket on it at night and called it a bed. I wouldn't have wanted to put anyone much bigger than our 10 year old on it.
Overall though, Porto Sani Village is a fantastic family holiday destination, which I would certainly recommend. You won't be disappointed if you go!

We have just come from the most fantastic two weeks at Porto Sani Village! We have five children, with age ranges from 4 to 15, and we all loved it. The kids club for our youngest was brilliant - really organised, great team and excellent range of activities. The suites were fresh, spacious, contemporary and immaculately cleaned each day. The service in the hotel and everywhere we went in the resort was personal and warm, yet professional in every way. The manager, Olga, Victoria - et al. Its hard to choose one as we all truly felt like VIPs with every member of staff! The food at Porto Sani Village, particularly the Asteria, was top class and we enjoyed the range and varieties of food at the Marina restaurants and the Asteria Suites - we particularly loved "Water", "Tomata", "Sea You Up" and "Macaroni". The Pool Side Bar was also great. We took full advantage of everything that there was to do - every possible water sport we tried, and my boys did their Open Water PADI dive course. We had an amazing trip to the monasteries on top of these incredible shaped mountains in a helicopter and a wonderful day long trip aboard Done Deal, one of the amazing boats on offer (all provided by the great VIP Sani Services and Nicole). The spa was first class and beautiful - my husband said his thai massage was quite simply the best he had ever had in his life! I personally enjoyed my first ever water colour class, provided by a wonderful art teacher in the idyllic surroundings by the pool, the huge range of things to do, the incredible personal service (best i have ever experienced on any holiday), the delightful marina and boutiques, the range and authenticity of the various restaurants, the lovely beach (even the service there was great), cycling everywhere round the resort (on our pick of a huge arrange of amazing bikes including tandems!), great tennis matches (which we managed despite the heat), the beautiful pools (all which had a great happy atmosphere around them), the ease and simplicity of getting around the resort and just the feeling that all of this added up together made the seven of us have an amazing holiday with lots of memories! Attention is paid to the largest and smallest of details, and every tiny little thing you need is absolutely no problem at all for them. No doubt about it. We will be going back and I am already recommending the place to all my friends.

Room Tip: Hard to say which was the best room as we only saw ours. We had a family suite for my husband and i...
