“PURE LUXURY”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

This is our third visit to the porto sani village. The welcome we received from Sakis and Christina was amazing, it was like long lost friends. We stayed in a marina suite which is just for adults and were in room 10 amazing room, 4 poster bed two balconies, lovely lovely room. the staff were as usual amazing and cannot fault them. our favourite bar is the see you bar which is lovely to have an hour there when the sun is too hot. It was lovely to meet up with Goita again. The Artemis Restaurant now has a change of menu every day, there was a great choice, our favourite restaurant was the taverna on the marina. We enjoyed the a la carte breakfast and there is now a couples only section of the restaurant so it was nice and peaceful.

Just returned from spending our first holiday at the Porto Sani Village. The hotel can't be faulted, the staff were extremely attentive and the service was first class. The food was great and the pools, beach and rooms all of a very high standard. These things really make the hotel stand out above others, however, our time was clouded by a very poor experience at the Melissa Kids Club. Our advice if your child has any additional needs at all is to avoid the kids club at all costs. We found the kids club extremely chaotic (especially at drop of time) with lots of stressed staff, children and parents. No one greeted our child, made him welcome and there wasn't even time to say goodbye to him before he was ushered away. We expected a lot more from a kids club going under the name of such a high quality hotel. We withdrew our son from other sessions we had booked and would not recommend the kids club at all.

We have just returned from our second trip to Porto Sani Village and it was just how a 5 star luxury family holiday should be. In fact, I can easily say that this is the best family holiday we have ever had. What makes this place so special? The suites are divine, the pools and beaches are perfection, our children adored the Kids Club, the Marina and surroundings are exquisite and immaculately kept. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from. The See You Bar is a must visit. And Artemis is our favourite restaurant.

But what makes this place better than anywhere else we have stayed (and we travel a lot and only stay in 5 star!) is the staff - so warm, friendly, and utterly efficient in every way. Big thanks to Nikos for making the Artemis Restaurant so wonderful, Maria on reception in Artemis we miss you already, and a huge thank you to Maria and Julia in Guest Relations. Sakis, the Manager totally rocks - we have never met such a dedicated and hardworking Manager anywhere. And to Dimitri at the San Asterias Beach thank you so much for looking after us so well with drinks and cocktails all day long.

Safe to say that we will be returning to Porto Sani Village every May for at least the next 5 years!

We have just returned from our first visit to the Sani resort and will definitely be returning. The hotel, rooms and facilities are fantastic as is the food ( a superb range of restaurants, cafes and bars all serving delicious fresh produce). However, the one area which stands out the most and puts this resort head and shoulders above other 5* Family resorts is the people and service. We found everyone we came across to be extremely friendly, helpful and above all accommodating. The hotel manager and his staff are are credit to this hotel group and made our stay all the more special - Thankyou!

Have just returned from another fantastic week at Porto SANI Village.this resort never fails to amaze us, from the moment we walked through the doors to be greated by Sakis and his team, was lovely to see Christina, Julia and meet Maria who is new to an already excellent team.
The new restaurant manager Nikkos looked after our every need to ensure that our dining experience was flawless.
Filipos looked after us at lunch providing the best Greek salad we have ever had, great to watch Chef in action as she prepared this before us.
Nothing is every too much trouble and everyone is so professional but make you feel part of the family.
The luxury here is second to none and the best service we have ever encountered. We will be back for a visit in August plus next year as usual.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent!

the manger is really friendly and when you arrive you are there to be greeted, if you have any problems the reception desk is always happy to help.
the housekeeping staff a really friendly and they come with water , chocolates and the weather for the next day.
as this is my 4th time at the village it is lovely and the food changes every year so you have a variety of your food and every Wednesday they have a Greek night with traditional Greek food for you to try and then you can do some Greek dancing.
there Is always live music in the bar that you can sit down and listen and relax at in the evening.

Room Tip: don't pick promo room if you have a family of 4 with the 2 bed suite and the a couple of 2 becau...

This is a very delayed review of our trip in July last year, which I was prompted to write following the realisation that we will be back at PSV in 6 weeks time, for our fourth visit (yay! - Izzy (8) and Georgia (3)).

So much has been said about this fabulous resort that one risks sounding repetitive and cultish (and I could go on at length about the food, the cleanliness, the comfort, the beaches, the facilities for adults and kids etc etc) but for us, what sets it apart, are the staff and the service levels they provide. For example, my 8 year old daughter has a recently diagnosed intolerance to wheat (we're not fussy eaters and try to deal with it practically (eg, eat the meat not the pie!)) and mentioned this to our lovely waitress, Daphni, on our first morning. On day 2, a huge wheat free chocolate brownie and seemingly dozens of madeleines, made especially for her by the chef, were presented. I cannot tell you how happy this made Izzy feel (and indeed the rest of us who snaffled a few...). For Izzy, who is often relegated to some really quite boring foodstuffs, this was manna from heaven. Another example: there was a wine tasting one evening, and I particularly took to a scrummy fizzy one. Christina, the lovely, very professional concierge, obviously noted this and, on our last night, a bottle was put in our room, with a note telling us to "Enjoy" (we did...!). Natalia did a great job of looking after the kids at the 'play table' during breakfast and supper at Artemis; so much patience. Christina, our lovely babysitter, was adored by our girls. Sakis, the manager, runs an incredibly tight ship, and seems ever present, making sure everything is up to their (very) high standards, and making sure everyone is having a good time.

There are many places in this world to visit but, certainly whilst our kids are still young, we cannot think of anywhere else we would rather be on holiday. I'm a fussy beggar (as anyone who knows me will attest) but I have to say that this place has it pretty spot on. Yes it is expensive but cut your cloth accordingly, and it is do-able (certainly in comparison to the other named resorts in Europe). Holidays are precious and until someone can prove that there is somewhere else in Europe, with such wide ranging facilities for all, at a similar price point, we are just not going to risk it.

See you on 12 July.

We love Porto Sani!!!! (Izzy and Georgia)

Room Tip: We've tried pool view and garden view (downstairs) and been happy with both
