A highlight of our 3-week European adventures! Anna's Sea House provided exquisite comfort and rest in beautiful surroundings. From smelling the fragrant lemons fresh from the tree by the outdoor hammock, to the fine bedding with enough room for this family of four, the house is an ideal base for exploring Western Crete. Clean and tastefully decorated, wonderful shower (both inside and outside). Easy, 1-minute walk to one of the loveliest beaches, with calm and clear water, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas for only 3 euro per bed per day. A wide selection of supermarkets in a one-mile radius. The center of beautiful Chania is merely a 10-minute drive away. The hosts are lovely, charming and thoughtful! If we take more holidays in Chryssi Akti and Chania, we will definitely return.

We had a great time staying at Anna's Sea House with our two young children (2 and 4 years old). The property itself is child-friendly: easy to keep clean, with a secure, enclosed private garden. It's easy to spend time at the property, what with the BBQ, outdoor dining, sun loungers, Wi-Fi, childrens' swings and a hammock, but it's also only 3 or 4 minutes walk to a safe, not-too-crowded beach where the sand slopes very gently into the sea and there are no big waves. The kitchen is well equipped, and there's a local supermarket a minute's walk away. There are also a number of places to eat nearby - including 'To steki tou Stavrou' with playground for the children. We were able to walk along the beach to the centre of Chania in just over 35 minutes, or get there in 12 minutes by bus from the nearby bus stop (less than a minute away). It's easy to park a car outside (and there's a car hire place over the road) so good for making trips around the island. Owners Yanni and Georgia were excellent at making sure we had everything we needed, and we would highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here. With a well thought out, fully equipped property (amazing lemons and BBQ!) you have everything you need and the kindness and generosity of hosts Yanni and Georgia was incredible. It's close to the beach and only a short bus trip to beautiful Chania old town. The supermarket next door was great as were the bakery and cafes a few minutes walk away. We have a young toddler and it was a great setup for us all; it would also be perfect for older families or groups of friends too. It was a great base for day trips elsewhere on the island. We hope to be back again, thanks for a great stay.
