“This feels like home...well a very luxurious home.”
Reviewed 1 August 2013 via mobile

I was traveling by myself on this trip and found this to be quite an amazing experience.
I had booked the hotel based on the reviews here.
The hotel is superb luxurious and my room was amazing and fully renovated with the best accessories.
The hotel caters to all age groups and I have never seen a place so friendly. Everyone welcomes you to the hotel and makes you feel as part of a big family. It took me no time before I was talking to several nice people and ended up having dinner and going out with them.
Stavo and Elizabeth are the most welcoming hosts. They are in their early 30's and look after you like a true famiy. Do spend some time at the bar with them. They have amazing personalities.
The atmosphere there is very relaxed and you'll notice that immediately.
Will definitely consider returning there!

Stayed her for 4 nights as part of our island hopping adventure. We were warmly greeted at the port and transferred to the hotel free of charge, and the same on our return, which was very nice. On arrival at the hotel the owner talked us through a map of the island and showed us the best way to walk into town. The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the centre but far enough away that you don't get much noise. When shown to our room we were told that we had been upgraded to a superior room, lucky us!! This room was very big and nice with a massive balcony over looking the pool.

So you may be wondering why the 3* review? Well we wanted to make the following points in order to help the hotel improve as the owner is lovely, rather than being overly critical or personal. Firstly, when leaving the hotel on our second day we were accosted by staff and told we needed to pack up all our stuff as we had to go to the room we originally booked, this was very annoying as we had unpacked and had the room sorted. They had therefore just given us an upgrade for 2 nights to suit their requirements rather than for our benefit. If we had been told it was only for 2 nights we would have said no thanks and just asked for our original room, moving is too much hassle.

Secondly, we felt like we were staying in a hotel without a swimming pool as we found the pool area pretty much unusable. There were SIX sun loungers for a hotel with at least 30 rooms so probably around 60 guests. Yes, the majority are party goers and sleep most of the day but people still had to just put towels on the hard tiles in order to sunbathe. They do have chairs but who sunbathes on a chair? Also these 6 sun loungers were unbearably uncomfortable. We managed to get 2 on one day and lasted about 30 minutes, they really hurt. If the place changed the sun loungers and got some more of them then this hotel would be great.

This hotel goes above and beyond what you'd expect for a 2 star hotel. For starters, the rooms and pool area are immaculately clean. The rooms are serviced daily (and extremely well) and there's not a speck on the ground around the hotel. As for the food - simple, delicious and well-priced. The cocktails are probably the best I've had - espresso martini is a must try. The location is 2 min walk from town, but far enough so you are not in the midst of the hustle and bustle of ios. Music is playing around the pool which creates a cool atmosphere- paired with the delicious cocktails and friendly enviroment- really makes you feel like you're on holidays. Lastly Stavros and Liz are amazing people. From the second we walked in we felt right at home. They are arguably the most accommodating staff I've encountered and will try their best for you. They also have great reccomendatioms for resturants and bars around ios. I was very sad to leave this hotel, as it made our stay in ios very special.

What an incredible stay. There was a group of 4 of us and we ate and drank like kings our entire stay. The place is spotless and their cocktails are to die for. Stavros and the team welcomed us with open arms and by the end we felt like locals. We ate at the best restaurants and sat by the bar meeting other guests in the hotel. So many great memories from ios thanks to lofos. Hats off
to stavros and his team.

Love sam and cloe xx

My Girlfriend and I chose this place because of the reviews on trip advisor. Really the reviews do not do this place justice. Firstly Stavros and his support staff are awesome. They are friendly helpful and genuinely treat you as a friend. They help you out on where to eat, where to drink and anything else you need. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We upgraded our room which had a large balcony above the pool which was great to lie there after a big night on the town. the hotel is situated 2-3 minutes walk from town which has a million little bars and clubs to choose from. i highly recommend eating at the Lord Byron ( reccommended by stavros and elizabeth). fantastic food and great service.
Drinks i suggest going to Slammers for their famous shots and Circus bar for some live music.
Fantastic time in Ios.
