“Excellent way to spend a Sunday afternoon”
Reviewed 10 March 2014 via mobile

Spent a very leisurely afternoon over a long lunch and wine tasting. They have fixed price 2 course or 3 course option, coffees are $$. We all had various selections, and everyone lived their choices. The risotto was nice, but the serving was little small. The strip loin steak was very good, served medium rare. The duck comes slightly pink, so if you like well done, you need to ensure you order it that way. The wines were very reasonably priced, and started at around $35/bottle. This restaurant is always booked out on the week end, so it necessary to book at least a week or two in advance.

“Lovely spot for lunch in the Yarra Valley”
Reviewed 20 February 2014

We had lunch here on a weekend - 2 courses for $55. The snapper was really nicely cooked and the chocolate semifreddo was quite nice. The bread was good, the oil it came with was even better. The main dining room was full of large groups so quite noisy but we were in a side room with only 5 tables which was nice and quiet. The wine was very good and well priced. Recommended spot for lunch.

“Delicious food, lovely setting”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

Here for dinner on the weekend - with a set price menu, you could chose 2 courses for $55 or 3 for $69. Sat outside on their patio, a very pleasant little area surrounded by greenery. And mozzies when it got dark! We had some really good bread and olive oil to start with, then shared 2 entrees which were both really good (buffalo mozzarella and a basil pesto, and a terrine); main courses were fish with greens and a pumpkin risotto. We shared a desert and we shouldn't have.. it was so good! Accompanied, of course, by their famous Noble One it was a fabulous finish to a very lovely evening. We should have left it there - but no, we ordered coffee, which to put it politely, was a real let down.
Total cost for 3 of us, including a bottle of red, was $230. Worth if for a special occasion.

“Fine Italian dining”
Reviewed 20 September 2012

We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Thursday. The place was half full. Deco is family home style. Outside view is excellent overlooking the vineyards. Service is quick and friendly. We had a table for five. The menu is limited. Food is excellent in presentation, taste and quantity. The 24 months aged parma ham is highly recommended. Sauce of the pasta is excellent. My lamb is cooked so well that it melts in my mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Its real value for money.
