My wife and I just spent 3 nights at A Rovers Retreat B&B. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Time to sleep, talk, love and put the foundation of our marriage back in place. The privacy and peacefulness of the B&B was very refreshing. The hospitality of Kimberly and Dave was very accommodating and genuine.
Thankyou both for a great stay.

We just spent two wonderful nights with Kimberly and David at A Rover's Rest, and it will be forever difficult for me to book into a regular hotel or even another B&B. A Rover's Rest is all that a B&B should be: private suites, accessible from outside; private outdoor area; wonderful hot tub under the stars; home made cookies in the room; bath robes, slippers, towels and towel sheets. Helpful hosts, reading with a full weekend worth of activity tips, or just as willing to leave you on your own to explore the area or stay in and relax. And the hot breakfast each morning? All B&Bs should endeavour to match Kimberly's culinary two-course surprises, all utilizing fresh local fruit and produce and each one an absolutely perfect way to start the day. I can't say enough about A Rover's Rest, other than to urge the rest of the British Columbia B&B community to pull up its collective socks!

Near everything, including Blind Bay and Salmon Arm. We liked the privacy and the location close to Sunset Bay. Professionally run with lots of amenities. The hosts were wonderful and the breakfast was great!

Just spent a few days at Rover's and we enjoyed every minute. The facility is clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were entertaining and the hospitality was great. Kimberly can't do enough to help her guests find their way around Salmon Arm and the area.

Rover's had two hummingbird feeders set up on one side of the house. When my son, whose room was on the other side, said he had never seen hummingbirds before, Kimberley moved one of the feeders to near his room! How cool is that?

Room Tip: Access to the main house is limited when the front door is locked so get a room with an inside door

We were looking for comfort, friendliness and above all a great base for our time in Salmon Arm. Kimberley and David went above and beyond in every way. We felt like family and were looked after wonderfully. From the little touches like fresh flowers and the attention to detail in our rooms with perfect bedding... Right to the delicious breakfasts and fantastic local knowledge. We hope to come back summer next year!!! Em and Glenn - Australia

Older log home in nice grounds. Small private suites in the home + hot-tub and nice patio.
Home has collectibles and flavour of the "70'ies" atmosphere.
Breakfast very average, little choice, but tea and snacks available all day from "snack corner" in sitting room. Quiet.

Room Tip: Note check-n not til 5.00 p.m.

This is our second 2 day stay at Rovers Rest. Very friendly and excellent breakfast. We really appreciated the beach towels, house coats . Separate entrance for each room. Hot tub.
The area is beautiful. Lots of restaurants to choose from and lots to do. Shuswap lake is spectacular in summer especially

Room Tip: Three different suites to choose from if you book early. Our favorite the points room
