A cornucopia of maritime history dating back hundreds of years including many naval artifacts. The building itself spans three floors and has been sympathetically restored with some of the original 12th century architecture intact. The people there giving verbal information (who I assume were volunteers) were very enthusiastic about their subject. Even disabled facilities with lift! Well worth the admission cost.
