We stayed there during the Goodwood Revival the third time. Wonderfull as ever. Very friendly and a great mixture of classic cottgage style and modern living. Very clean rooms. Perfect full english breakfast. Our daughter (11 years old) felt in love with britain.

Arriving after a long journey from Auckland, 2 days later than planned, we were happily greeted by Michele's Daughter. We stayed in the 'Pink Room' which was welcoming, bright, fresh, clean and exactly what we needed! Our stay from 27-30 August 2013 was very comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast by an open door into the sunny garden. We ate fantastic fresh summer fruit and a full English Breakfast with friendly personal service from Michele. The kitchen and decor were clean with artistic flare, as were the rooms. We found Michele very accepting of our delay, flexible and fair in our arrangements. We recommend this lovely 'home-away-from-home' and we will definitely be back again when we next visit on this side of the world. It is a very pleasant walk to the beach and in the beautiful village of Felpham. Thank you Michele!

We stayed 30th -1st September 2013. Very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, great choice for breakfast, all freshly prepared. The room was beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area. We will be booking again! First class bed and breakfast.

We stayed from 13-15 September 2013 in the pink room and have previously stayed in the blue room. Both rooms are well appointed, clean, very comfortable and have an invigorating shower that livens you up for Michele's sumptuous breakfast! A choice of fresh fruit salad and/or cereal followed by a full english breakfast with eggs cooked to your liking. The house is beautifully decorated, airy and light and the welcome so warm and natural that you relax immediately. There is also a very pretty, secluded garden. The village offers a good choice of eating and drinking establishments and the cottage is a short walk from the beach. I would not hesitate in recommending Spring Cottage with Michele's attention to detail you are certain of a warm welcome and a relaxing stay.

We stayed on the 7th September. We have stayed before and so knew that the house is beautiful, immaculate, spacious, light and very relaxing. However, this time we brought along our little girls but this didn't phase our hosts at all. They were very accommodating and understanding (we were a bit loud and late for breakfast).
The bathrooms are still in perfect order with excellent showers and lovely smellies. Good tea tray in the rooms. Very comfortable beds with very good linen. Blackout shutters (useful if you have littlies in the room). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was great for us because we could walk to the beach.
Really, Spring Cottage is pretty close to perfect as a home from home. I can't recommend it enough; its why we came back to Michele and Laurie, charming hosts.

Room Tip: The pink room is slightly smaller and the blue room has a full size additional single, very useful f...

Well, we weren't quite sure what to expect, the pictures on the website look great (but on some sites can sometimes be deceiving), but being there in person was a delight and a pleasant surprise.

The B+B was more spacious than appeared outside, kind of like the Tardis! The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable, light and airy. Everything was absolutely immaculate, including the en-suite bathroom which looked like new.

Breakfast was at a time chosen by us, and cooked personally by our wonderful host, Michele, who is friendly, funny and very helpful.
For breakfast we were given fresh fruit salad to start, which consisted of a mix of different fruits each morning, followed by a hearty cooked English breakfast.

Alongside of the breakfast room is a beautiful garden, where you can take your breakfast if you prefer. You can also visit with Lily, a pug/Boston terrier cross, who was also very friendly and cute (she also sings!).

The cottage is ideally situated near the local shops, post office and restaurants, and a few minutes walk from the beach.

I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Spring Cottage, we will most certainly be coming back. Well done Michele!

Room Tip: Spring Cottage has two rooms available, both are large, immaculate and comfortable, so choose eithe...

my one night stay was on the 29th July 2013 and I found the total experience to be great. This includes the location, with a clean and comfortable bed room and a high pressure shower that was perfect after a days driving. The bed was so good I was almost late for breakfast which as a man I found to be filling and tasty. Within walking distance are a number of good pubs offering a wide range of dinner options. After my choice a walk along the beech must have been a significant factor in my nights sleep

Room Tip: Both rooms are good
