Once off the tarmac, the road to Kichanga Lodge is extremely bumpy. Once that 2 odd min. drive is done, Kichanga Lodge beholds a beautiful and cozy experience for their guests. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and warm. They’re willing to go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. The view of the beach is nothing less than breathtaking. Few downers: a). The room(s) don’t have a safe, the hotel has a central one at the reception. That’s something that can be worked upon. b). Proximity to the beach makes the place vulnerable to mosquitoes. Would be great if something can be done about that.
Overall had a lovely experience here and would definitely recommend it to my friends.

A fantastic stay of 10 nights which will remain memorable in my life. A spectacular beach spot,a lovely staff always smiling and ready to satisfy every request of the guest and a great choice of tours. The breakfast was also various with fresh products. Thank you all staff of Kitchanga!

Room Tip: Ocean view bungalow is the best choice

A wonderful location... quite and relaxing!!!
Staff WONDERFUL.... especially George the manager! He was always checking with everybody if all was good.... but we can't complain .... Food excellent !!! Beach : a dream !!! thank you!

Room Tip: room no. 6 is near to where the staff prepares breakfast (which can mean 5.30/6.00am) ... didn't matter to us because we were up early to enjoy the sunrise...

The staff was so friendly and the room was lovely.

Only bad thing about or stay:
We had half board, but since We didn't need dinner We asked whether We could switch and have lunch instead. This was not possible - Why i don't know. It would have been extremely good service and I think it would have been cheaper for them to give us lunch rather than dinner. For a accomodation this pricy I expected them to go longer for their visitors and show some extra goodwill.
