We stayed in the yellow room, which was exactly as shown on the website. It was clean and comfortable, very spacious. The breakfast was delicious: homemade breads, jams, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, as well as cheese and cold cuts, were offered. The hostesses were very gracious and wanted us to feel comfortable. There isn't a television in the rooms and Wi-Fi is spotty.

Room Tip: The ceiling in the yellow room is a little low. I'm 5'5" and hit my head on the ceilin...

We stayed 2 nights after coming by ferry from Portsmouth to Caen to visit the D Day beaches.
The small village of Manvieux is close to Arromanches and there are plenty of restaurants in Arromanches for an evening meal.
We stayed in the Chambre Jaune - the room was enormous. There was also a small table and chair area with tea and coffee making facilities.A separate WC and then a bath with a shower (over the bath) and basin mirror etc.The towels were changed daily however they were a little stiff could have done with some fabric conditioner.
The room was a little dark despite 2 windows in the bedroom - however as it was very hot while we were there it was pleasant to be inside after a long hot day - before getting ready to go out for an evening meal.
The breakfast was delicious fresh bread/ croissant/pain au chocolat/brioche home made yoghurt and jams etc.
There is a courtyard area out the front were you can sit as I think there is only one room that has a balcony.Free wifi is available.
If you are exploring the D Day beaches you must visit the newly opened (2013) 360 degree cinema which shows a 19 minute film with surround sound of original footage of the D Day landings.

The B&B is a large stone-built house set in a shady garden in the tiny village of Manvieux, 2 km from Arromanches. Our room was spacious, clean and had a "lounge" area and separate bathroom and toilet. We also had wifi, and a little balcony overlooking the courtyard and a view of the church. Breakfast is served at a communal table and was delicious, consisting of yoghourt, brioche, and jam (all home-made), plus the usual baguette, tea/coffee. etc. We ate at Arromanches one night and at a little local restaurant the other night which was recommended by our hostess, both eateries being only a few minutes away by car. Altogether an excellent stay for the modest price of EUR 70 per night for two.

We were not disappointed with our second visit to this quaint B&B and were greeted like old friends by the owners, two sisters who run this B&B. The rooms and the bathrooms are very large by French standards and are clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is delicious with home made brioche, yogurt and jams to accompany coffee, juice and french bread. This is a tiny hamlet with only quiet to offer their guests. There are ample restaurants 15 mintes away in any direction. Our treat was our morning walk towards the back of the property through the farms to the beachs where we caught the sun rising over Arromanches. Ample parking. Would highly recommend this B&B.

This hotel was in a great location to explore the DDay area. The town is incredibly small. There really isn't anything in the local vicinity in terms of food. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the bigger city of Bayeux. We had a great meal in Bayeux after a long day of touring all the DDay sights. It was nice to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Bayeux (all the hotels were booked in Bayeux, which is how we discovered this wonderful place). In the AM, there is a wonderful homemade breakfast complete with yogurt, pancakes, jams, juice, coffee, and tea. The owners don't speak a lot of English, however we we're able to communicate just fine with our limited French. This is a cash only place, so be sure to have enough cash. Would stay here agin for sure.

Immediate impression was, "Why does this place get all the enthusiastic reviews?" Our room was spacious but very sparsely furnished. Beds and bathroom are clean but spiderwebs in the corners and peeling wallpaint give an uncomfortable feeling to the room. The biggest problem was the dampness, which made the stay in the room REALLY unpleasant. WiFi only worked outside the room and even there just barely. Attention to detail is lacking (e.g. broken toilet flush making continuous high pitched whine) No staff on duty during the night. Breakfast was good, but does not make up for the problems in the room. Would not stay again.
