Undoubtedly a cut above anything within miles- maybe Rouen or one of the Michelin restos in Upper Normandy. We have been going a few times a year for the 8 years. The chef in creative and combines fine ingredients in novel ways: a crumble toping on a crème de foie gras, bananas in spring roll style pancakes (nem). Presentation is always 'correct'. So dining here is a pleasure- best deal is Thursday night when it is only 15 euros instead of 23 or 27 euros for the menu. BUT, and here the questions about the importance of client service and dining out comes in. Madame' could certainly use some training on warm welcome and client relationships. So many places rely on word of mouth. This always is a let down - could easily be remedied- and is for me a deal breakerI
