We stayed at Cottage Bourg for 4 days in the Easter holidays. It's a nice 3 bedroom apartment situated below the owners house. It has a really big bathroom with lots of towels and wash cloths. It also has a washing machine. You can ask for a cot bed being put in one of the rooms. There are toys, games, books and magazines and folders of the area etc. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a fridge/freezer, kettle, gas stove, washing up liquid, sponge, tea towels, cleaning products. There is wifi, although very slow, it still does the job for checking email etc. There is a road in front of the apartment, but only tractors and cars from the neighbours drive there. My kids loved seeing all the tractors etc coming past. Across from the road are the cows in a field, love it and so did my kids. There is a patio with table, chairs and parasol. You can walk around the house and then you have the most amazing view of the valley, it's stunning! You have the same view from the main bedroom. At the back of the house there is a massive trampoline, play house with slide and swings and the pool. The outdoor stuff is all shared with the guests from the other 2 gites. The pool is not heated, but we still went in there. Again the view is amazing!! The Flemish owners, Wim and Els are really nice people and want to help you in any way. They are very approachable. From the site you can walk to the local church, which is beautiful. The nearest shop or bakery is a 15min drive. There is a bigger town at 25 min, which is beautiful, Caussade. There are supermarkets there and restaurants. At Easter all the shops are closed. We were happy to let our kids play alone on the play equipment and walk there on there own, 2 and 5 years old. The pool is not fenced off but further away from the play stuff and they can't really see it from there. The reason why you should go there is the view, it's amazing, the nice owners and the cleanliness. We are hoping to go there again one day. They are also very quick in responding to emails.
