“Lovely greens with loads of knowledge on spices...”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

They have a 45 mins tour of their spice garden with lovely welcome drink and food thereafter... you can also pick up massage oil, n other stuff which is organic and made by them. A place worth going again.

“Educational”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Really educational view on the use of spices as food flavouring and as medicine. Tour guide around plantation. Pleasant welcome tasty food included in admission price at the end of the tour. Good place to buy aloe Vera gel for sun burn and spices. Option to buy nuts at the gate. Very close by site to see and ride an elephant. Rough under foot so not suitable to buggies and those of poor mobility. Well worth the visit

“refreshing n enjoyable”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

After 2 days in the beach we went for local sightseing to spice farm. It was a very different and interesting experience for us as well as the kids. Starting with a flower garland and a welcome drink , the tour starts by the guide showing us different spice plants and the vast area of spice plantations. After the trip a traditional lunch follows. The best part was the elephant rides which the kids njoyed very much. A relaxed place for a different experience.

“Sahakari Spice Farm-Ponda-Goa. Include in Your Goa Itinerary.”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

We visited this place on 3rd November-13 the day of Diwali. It turned out to be an excellent trip. The place they said is 130 acres of land which is a dense forest, green space full with all kinds of spices, fruits plants, trees. A welcome change from the suffocating City life. Guest are welcome with a traditional tilak on the forehead then are seated under a waiting area and served green tea & Cheeslings biscuits. A Guide then takes group of visitors around wherein they are shown all major plants, its benefits and how it should be consumed. It was a hands on receipt of information. The surprise package was three elephants that they have on the farm. Visitors are allowed to feed them, touch them and take photographs. One could ride them for a small tour. At the end visitors are served simple meal and a small portion of famous Goan Feni. They are also given a packet of various spices as a gesture of visit to this place. The entry fee to the farm includes cost of the meal. They also sell locally made spices, honey, Feni and other articles. One need around 90-120 minutes for this excellent experience. I suggest visit to this place a must for any Goan tourist.
