A very well located property in a beautiful village. Situated next to a convenience store and sandwich shop you have everything you need on the doorstep, and the New Inn next door but one is superb. Parking is available here if you have a nice chat with the landlord. Their food is excellent and the meal deal hour 5-6pm is great value.
3 miles from Pickering, 17 miles from Scarborough this house is in a great location. The kitchen is downstairs and all other rooms are upstairs, this is kind of like a bug that above a shop. Spacious rooms, two sitting areas, two dining areas. I'm sure we will be back!
Public footpath and woods walking area just over the road, children's play park only 2 minute walk away.
Delightful accommodation which is cosy, comfortable, and practical in a stunning location. The owners have obviously put a lot of consideration into making this rental a home from home. It is well looked after and spotlessly clean, spacious with the 3 bedrooms and large living room.
What sets Chestnuts apart from other places is the attention to detail- the pot of herbs outside of the kitchen door, the sofa in the snug, the coloured windows through which the sun streams, the comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, and the warm welcome for dogs.
The location is fabulous with 2 excellent pubs on the doorstep, friendly local shops which also act as unofficial tourist information guides (what they don't know isn't worth knowing!), a stunning village pond, a cheerful butcher, and a great pizza place.
