We stayed at this B & B for 7 nights and loved every day of it.Although Lindsey and Ron have only been there a few weeks, they made us very welcome,it was like staying with relativesThis is an old building but the room that me and my husband stayed in and also my friends room were all VERY clean. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety, and the poached eggs are a must to have.Even George the dog was please to see us every day.If we are ever in this area again, this is the B & B we will stay at.The location of this place is within easy reach of visiting any part of North Yorkshire

My husband and I had a great weekend at Thornton-Le-Dale and our stay at Bridge Foot helped make that happen. The owners Ron and Lindsey had only been there 13 days themselves when we arrived and are new to the game of the B&B world, but that didn't show. What a lovely couple!
We didn't book we just turned up on their doorstep hoping they had a vacancy, they were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable we slept like a log,and the breakfast was gorgeous(proper butchers sausage and bacon) if I had to fault it,the deco in the rooms is a little tired, but the cleaness, the hospitality, the location overrides that.Rome wasn't built in a day.
The Hall Inn is just across the road the foods good and its a great place to have a drink.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

When we booked the B&B we were unsure due to previous entries on trip advisor, it would appear that the poor stays encountered previously have been down to the previous owners. The new owners Ron & Lindsey have apparently only taken over a few months ago, they made us feel very welcome and Lindsey's breakfast were to dream of, a choice of continental or full english. The location is fantastic as Thornton -le-Dale is very nice and the village of Pickering is only a few miles down the road. Dalby Forest is just up the road, we were there for the cycling and took advantage of the garage at Bridgefoot House to store the bikes.
The hotel felt clean and we would definetley stay again.
Thanks for our lovely stay

The new owners Ron and Lindsey made me feel very welcome throughout my stay in this beautiful guest house, it is located right next to the beck, the room was nice and clean with a lovely view over the garden, breakfast was delicious and plenty of it- it set me up for the day - I will certainly be visiting again!
