It was our first stay down on the South Coast. Greg and Jan were fantastic hosts and their B & B was great.
They gave us so many local suggestions as to beach, food and things to do. It was really a home away from home. Only alot more peaceful.
It unit was well equipped and all you want on holiday.
The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice.
Thanks Greg and Jan for making our few days away memorable.
Regards John and Christina

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Greg and Jan are amazing host who are really friendly and accommodating. The unit itself was neat and clean including the toilets. The water is a stones throw away from the unit and it is just beautiful to sit and watch the sunset sipping a hot cup of tea. If you want a peaceful quite vacation, this is the accommodation for you.
Each morning we had a breakfast hamper provided and you can choose from a range of items you such as eggs, bacon, fruits, juice, jams etc which is set outside the unit every morning at the specified time.
This accommodations is about 10mins from Vincentia and 15 mins from hukisson. St George basin itself is also gorgeous.
If you are considering staying here I can confidently recommend it as we were very happy with the accommodation.
A big thanks to Jan and Greg for making our staying so wonderful.

Pros: Comfortable clean room, quiet location, delicious breakfast basket with homemade bread! And we LOVED the polished cement flooring!

Cons: Whilst the room was lovely, clean and comfortable, we were really disappointed to find on arrival that it's a studio style room. There is no separation of the bedroom at all - the kitchen, bedroom and lounge are all one big room. I'm an early riser so I sat silently on the sofa for a couple of hours each morning not daring to boil the kettle for a coffee, because the noise would have woken my husband (we have four children so the opportunity for a sleep in is very rare indeed). The photos and room description don't give any clue that the bedroom isn't separate - in fact, the photos make the bedroom area look like a stand-alone room. Also - and this may seem like I'm being very picky - but the bathroom is RIGHT next to the bedroom and you can hear EVERYTHING!!! It may come across as overly critical - I just think it's slightly misleading to not show a photo of the whole room, instead taking photos of the different areas, which makes it look like it's all separate. If wanting privacy or not being disturbed by your partner going to bed after or waking up before you matters, then this is an important omission.

All in all, though, we had a relaxing, enjoyable stay. The area is gorgeous and we recommend an early morning stroll on Hyam's Beach. We were lucky enough to see the Army doing parachute manoeuvres over the water, which was fun.

Room Tip: We stayed in the end apartment and the view from the our patio was of a besser brick wall with old unused bricks and blocks piled up along the wall. The apartment closer to the main house would have much nicer views of the beach.

Thank you for your overall positive comments. We can understand that the photograph of the bedroom gives the impression that it is a separate room. Please note that there is also a plan of the layout of the apartment which clearly shows that it is open planned. Sorry about the old bricks near your apartment. As you will have noticed there is a landscaping project underway at the moment.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for the Huskisson Triathlon in February 2014. It was the perfect place to stay being comfortable, quiet, functional and friendly. The rooms have everything you need, are comfortable and a view to match.

We arrived very late on Friday and Greg was kind enough to greet us and show us around. Our breakfast supplies were delicious (and ready at an early time on race day). Greg and Jan were excellent hosts.

The rooms are set in a lovely location - with a beautiful outlook over the basin and a leafy vista. Each room has a nice deck to relax on (BBQs too).

You could easily stay here for a longer time. We were very happy and will no doubt stay there again before the 2015 race.

Room Tip: Room 1 was excellent.

Stayed in the Hyams Room and it was beautiful with great views over St George Basin. Relaxed out on the deck chairs under the shade of the big trees while we drank champagne - glorious! In the early evening the local friendly kangaroos came for a visit and I even was lucky enough to be able to feed one as Greg came out to give them some treats. The colourful parakeets were along the little walking track and were very beautiful. The breakfast was full on (you could have what you wanted) and you received a big basket filled with our choices for us to have at our leisure. We went down the hill to the calm beach and snorkelled in the clear water and saw some pretty fish. We also visited Hyams Beach which was very nice as the sand is soft and the waves were a plenty. Our room was more of an apartment with an open kitchen, lounge, bedroom and an adjoining bathroom. Great decor, heaps of space and cleanliness was excellent. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Thankyou so much to Pat, Greg and Jan.

Room Tip: Our room Hyams was the one closest to the views of the water.
