The Beach Club was a traveller's dream come true. Exotic beach bungalow in true balinese style with wonderful outdoor shower...... all I can say is WOW!! We stayed for three nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. All comforts are provided including wonderful friendly service, book exchange, scooter rental, taxi for the airport, hammock on the bungalow terrasse, mini fridge, air con, ceiling fan, the calming sound of waves, fantastic pool and beach... Also great info regarding shopping, spas etc. A really fantastic address in Lombok. Thanks especially to Nana for exceptional service and friendliness. We'll be back; Heather and Pascal

Room Tip: We stayed in the bungalow closest to the beach and it was awesome

The pensioner, two of our friends and i spent 2 nights in this divine hideaway last week.
The bungalows were immaculate and have a real WOW factor. Sleeping to the sound of waves and waking to the sight of fishing boats gliding past our bedroom window was priceless.
The first night we were treated to a Rugby match on the big screen behind the bar. Our guys loved that, the girls had their nails done whilst sipping cocktails.
Dee,Glenn and all of the staff were very welcoming and full of local infomation.
The four of us hired a captain, guide and boat and spent the next day exploring the Gilli 3 islands.
We will certainly return and next time we will spend a few days at the new Beach Club on Gilli Air.
Oh did I mention the Turtle nest just outside our bungalow? Dee and the staff are guarding these eggs and I am sure that when they hatch, like us,they will not want to leave.

Room Tip: All of the four bungalows are so close to the sand that you can smell the salt water. The bungalows...

We were recommended this accommodation after expressing our desire to stay in thatched huts on a beach ..it had always been my husbands dream. The " Beach Club " gave us this and more.

Our hut was only separated from the beach by a small section of garden, just enough to give privacy, but the sound of the waves were rhythmic and set the pace( or lack of ) for our restful 2 night 3 day stay here.
The huts are spacious and beds are large with a mosquito net, although we didn't find that we had any mosquito's.. all essentials like mini bar and tv's are there, but we preferred to sit on our porch and read or swim. A bonus is that the pool is salt water so gentle on the skin. The outside toilets and showers are unique I love the outdoor / indoor look .

The staff were extremely helpful and great English skills and soon we were navigating the local shopping district etc of Senggigi, which is either a 10- 15 minute walk or a 15,000 rp (1.50 aus) taxi fare away. Nana (one of the staff ) is just beautiful, beaming with enthusiasm for life and a great sense of humour always ready with a smile and helpful information, or to deliver another cocktail to the pool.

The restaurant had good meals at reasonable prices and there are also other restaurants within easy walking distance via the road or the beach.. gotta love that. But the best is watching the sun set whilst enjoying great food, wine and company.

Glenn and Dee extended their generosity to take us with him on one of his daily jaunts over to Gili Air, via Mel the Maniac and his trusty Van, where Glenn and Dee are expanding and building another "beach club" . We were impressed so much we have already expressed our intention to stay there too . Our trip already Booked.

I can't wait to experience both "Beach Club " Senggigi and the new "beach club Gilli Air.

Room Tip: We had room number 1.. and it was right next to the beach.... awesome.

We went to the beach club after climbing the rinjiani and it was a perfect reward after two days in a tent!
The bungalows were very nice and the bar is agreable.
The hotel is a little out of the town but the taxi fare is 1 euro to get in the center.
We would defintely come back again!

Me and my friend stayed here one night in a backpackers room in March 2012. When we arrived at night we were wondering what sounds we were hearing (later found that out: the big waves). We were surprised that this guest house is situated right on the beach. It has a wonderful view on the sea. The restaurant and small garden look very cozy as well. Room was basic, but had a nice atmosphere. Mosquito nets on the bed could not close properly, so they had no function.

However, my whole experience is ruined by the 'boat service' recommended by the staff. Me and my friend (young female travellers) 'booked' what was called by the staff a 'shuttle to Gili Trawangan' on a ' tourist boat'. It turned out to be a lie. We were just taken by an old van and dropped close to the public boat harbor (but we did not know that), fooled by the people who said they would take us on the boat (they were talking in a very agressive way), forced to travel with a cimodo because the men told us the 'boat' would leave soon (little did we know that the harbor was only a short distance away) and later just dropped at the public boat. Paid an awful lot of money just for a transfer to the public boat which costs only 10,000 rupiah. So normally I would say I recommend this guest house, because of the nice atmosphere and location. Now that I know that the staff is involved with these kind of scams, I can only say: a waste of a good hotel.

Hello,

We the owners and the staff are very sorry for this event to happen to you and sincerely apologise for advising you on what we now know is a shocking tour operator. It is difficult for us as guests always want the staff to recommend certain services and business's and we cannot guarantee that these operators are going to do the right thing by the tourists. We will in future not be recommending this tour company for any of our guests and thank you for your input.

I stayed for three days with Glen and Dee. What a great place and what a great couple. Nothing was a problem. The bungalows are well presented. The beer is cold and the staff are always happy to have a talk and a laugh. The location is hard to fault and the gardens give a peaceful relaxing feel.
They are currently building another location on Gili Air. I was lucky enough to accompany Glen and his friend Mel the Maniac on a trip over there. The new place looks like being just as good (if not better) than the existing one.
I will happily recommend this place to anyone who wants a great holiday.

The Beach Club is located an hours drive from Lombok airport, drivers are waiting at the airport exit offering transport. The hotel is built beach front with direct access to the water they also have a pool which is highly maintained and surrounded by a beautiful garden which has been well thought out and adds to the tranquillity of the place. There are many shaded areas to sit or lay around the pool as well as in the sun. You can escape to read or sit by yourself in several secluded areas around the hotel with stunning views of the sea and the
surrounding islands.
There are 4 bungalows each with a queen bed and room for an extra single bed if needed the rooms are spotless and modern with ceiling fan,air con, tv, dvd and fridge.
The bathrooms are attached and outside they look amazing (straight from a magazine) We travelled 2 adults and 2 kids (16 & 17) and stayed in bungalow 1 & 4. Bungalow 1 has beach views from windows and balcony Bungalow 4 looks over the pool area. A hammock is provided for use on each balcony a great spot to chill.
Our hosts Glenn & Dee (originally from Melbourne Aust) and their staff made us feel at home on arrival nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and inexpensive beer was always cold and service first class always with a smile . One of the highlights was sitting on the beachfronts having a drink or two watching the post card sunsets. It felt like we had our own private Villa at a fraction of the price. Can’t wait to return 3 nights was not long enough. Our trips to Bali will now always include Lombok staying at the Beach Club and their new hotel in Gilli Air. We will be highly recommending this place to our families and friends in Australia.

Room Tip: Bungalow 1 has sea views others all excellent
