Despite the fact that the staff is absolutely nice, kind and as helpful as it can, the hotel, unfortunately, does not meet by any mean the standards of a 5 or even 4 resort ( both in terms of rooms and service).

Yes, the location is great (Sengiggi has nice beaches and it is certainly the place you want to be if you like scuba diving. Easy base to reach Gilli island and its wonderdul diving sites) and the resort has a wonderful garden and sea view (obviously not all the rooms benefit of it), but the place needs to undergo a serious renovation ( to be completely honest, a good deep cleaning of common places and rooms could definitely suffice in the meanwhile)
I had dinner in the hotel only once and it was average but the setting was incredible.
Breakfast is good.

This place has potential but the management needs to make some urgent and drastic changes.
Until then, I do not feel to strongly recommend th place. Hopefully it will change soon

Thank you for staying with us and we feel sorry that you have not enjoyed your recent experience at our resort.
Undoubtedly, you have been dissatisfied by our resort mainly due to the condition of the room and it is too bad that it has impacted so negatively on your rating.
We might not be at the level of many other Sheraton in term of facilities and service however our prices could somehow reflect this difference.
Our resort is located on the beach of Senggigi however most of the rooms have a “partial" ocean view according to their position on the resort and all rooms have a large terrace or balcony overlooking either the garden, the pool or the beach.
Hopefully the major renovation program will be effective next year and certainly once the full property completely refurbished, we could expect from you a more generous rating.

It is a nice hotel, nice pool, friendly staff and good service.
The beach is only average and the water not always clean.
Rooms and bathrooms are spacious but getting aged.
Good restaurants and bars in the area make it still one of the best options on the island.

As it is often mentioned by other guest in the reviews, the rooms are getting aged and are in need of a refurbishment that we expect to be scheduled for next year however no confirmation at this stage.

We requested for connecting rooms for this 3 nights stay and the request was indeed fulfilled. As usual, connecting rooms comes with 1 Queen bed, and the other Twin beds. The inconsistency came in when we noticed the room with twin beds has missing items like safe box and also the hair dryers, while all these are found in the room with the Queen size bed. Not sure why the inconsistency? Room is a bit run down, cleanliness wise, is still acceptable.

Overall environment, spacious, and lots of greenery. Not particularly impressed with their pool.

When you arrange for airport transfer, please ensure you followed through with the front desk, as apparently, the request may had been dropped when there is a change in shifts. I think this is one area the hotel staffs need to pay more attention to.

Breakfast wise: not great, but quite an acceptable level of spread, the bread are actually better than the local delights.

Locality wise : good location in Senggigi, as within walking distance to Art market, and good eateries outlet like : Square, Bumbu, Happy Cafe and De quake. All worth a try, highly recommend Happy Café on Sunday "Melon heads", very entertaining and sings with standard.

We stayed at the Sheraton for 6 nights from the 11th of August and loved it. The resort was lovely, and we found the rooms clean, comfortable and to have everything we needed. The food was great - our family loved the buffet breakfast and I adored ordering my morning cappuccino ahhh!
We ate at the restaurant most nights and enjoyed the menu options and found the staff to be amazing - especially the outlet manager Din. He was so courteous and friendly, we wanted to take him home!
We would definitely come back as we enjoyed a relaxing stay... The only issue we did have was the lack of sun beds, people would reserve them early (before 7:30am) and most of the time would not return for hours. There was a sign saying they would be rotated ever 1/2 hour when not in use, however this did not happen and the pool staff were unwilling to enforce the rule. At one point we were left sitting on a step while we observed 1 family taking residence on sun beds in 3 different locations which they would alternate between - very frustrating! When we asked the pool staff to help, the told us people were at lunch and would be back hmmmmmm... Why have the sign?
Anyway other than this small issue - the Sheraton Lombok was gorgeous!!

Many thanks for your 6 nights stay with us and we are pleased that you have spent a rather nice time at our resort mainly due to our food selection and quality and our “amazing” staff with a special mention for Mr. Safruddin our restaurant manager, certainly you will put a big smile on his friendly face!
In regards to our 30 minutes towel policy, we must admit that we did not succeed yet to implement this internal rule! I have in many occasions requested the Leisure team to apply strictly this policy however since culturally they do not like confrontation, it is a bit challenging but we will not give up!! :>
Hopefully you will be attracted by our lovely island again in the future and we will be delighted to welcome you back at Sheraton Senggigi.

Had a room in Block 3, fairly nice room which opens up to the path leading to the pool. However, room was tired and old especially the toilet. Breakfast was mediocre but overall service was still good. A plus to the hotel would be the private beach which was kept clean. Pool is really nice with a small slide for kids.

Location wise, its close to town, walkable at least. However it is a good 1hr15min from the airport.

Room Tip: Block 3 is closest to the reception, pool and restaurants.

Based on your rating, we can consider that your stay has been rather pleasant.
In regards to your valuable comment, we cannot deny that our rooms are old, 23 years, and we expect next year a renovation program to refresh the property.
Concerning our breakfast, it is a bit surprising that you did not appreciate our buffet however when related to food, it is always more subjective and we feel sorry that the large food display that we deliver every day was not at your taste.
Hopefully Lombok will inspire another visit in the future and you will be the most welcome back at Sheraton Senggigi.

We stayed 10 nights at the Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort in July 2014. We travelled with three young children (4, 2 and 4 months). It was our second time visiting the resort.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis. A gem. The staff is simply the best, and we want to thank them for making our holiday so special.

The resort is old (20 years?), but the building is well planned, and rooms/bathrooms are build in quality materials making it still good. Timeless. (Many of the other hotels we stayed in during our holiday in Indonesia were only 1-5 years old and felt crappy due to poor quality materials...)

Fantastic pool area, kid's pool and private part of the beach. The breakfast is fantastic, and the restaurant prepares some lovely buffet dinners.

SPG members can get fantastic value if booking using star points.

One of the best resort I have ever stayed before. Room was great and spacious, nice swimming pool and great beach. Definitely will come back and stay at this hotel in the future. Food was very good and tasty! However, I am a bit disappointed at a breakfast place. I saw so many flies flying around on top of the food. I hope the hotel will do something and improve on how to prevent the flies from coming to the breakfast area. Overall, I am happy with the excellent service from the hotel!
