Visited Lumley's Place with my family. During the trip it was also my wife's 50th birthday and Benita and the crew really made breakfast special that morning!
Great place to stay as you are in the heart of the wine route and close to excellent dinner venues.
Going for a run in Pniel is a great experience for a Jo'burger.

We'll be back!

The Masikhulisane Cricket Academy had its official launch at Lumley's place a couple of weeks ago. The owners was extremely helpful and really went out of their way to accomodate us. They prepared a 3-course breakfast which was fantastic. The amazing breakfast, together with the ambience of the place made our Launch very successful. I give the place 10/10 for friendliness, advice and overall expertise. Strongly recommended for any function.

thanking you Sir for entrusting your project into our hands. We are proud that we delivered to your expectations and yes we love serving a hearty breakfast with our home baked bread as well as the jams cooked by the local villagers. Thanking you that we could be part of a mighty successful project for our future Protea cricket players. Good luck. And looking forward to our next event.

We arrange a function at Lumley's Place that took place a few weeks ago. It is not always that everything goes perfectly when you plan an event, but in this case it sure did! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the staff were very friendly and professional and made us feel right at home. We are truly grateful to Benita for the personal touch, advice and of course her loads of patience she showed leading up to the event and on the day. On behalf of ourselves and everyone that attended, THANK YOU for going out of your way to make this a huge success and doing it effortlessly! You surely have a winning recipe and we wish you nothing but the best, can’t wait for the next event!

God bless
Regards
Hayley

Dear Hayley - the pleasure was all ours. thanks for entrusting your most precious new project into our hands. I am glad that we delivered to your high standards - it was good listening to the reports about the good hearty breakfast that the sportsmen enjoyed. Thanks for all the support of sales for the local entrepreneurs as well. We do believe in upliftment of our communities. Masikhulisane will go from strength to strength - a mayor project driven by passionate people that really care about their community and the future of the youth and cricket. Well done. looking forward to more events of this caliber. You are a dynamic team.

We booked and stayed at Lumley's place in Pniel, near Stellenbosch for 2 nights. We really enjoyed the lovely hospitality of the hosts. A mere 5 minutes from Solms Delta and many other wine farms. A delicious breakfast was offered. Room and bathroom was spacious, modern and lovely white linen. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Highly recommended.

Thanking you for this awesome review. We are glad that you have enjoyed your stay and that our services and hospitality contributed to a wonderful experience for you. the added bonus of Lumley's Place is indeed the fact that we are quite centrally located in the Cape Winelands and a mere 10 minutes either side takes you to either Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and further to Paarl. Thanks for contributing to our growth. God bless and looking forward to your return.

It was in 2013 that my daughter and I first stayed at Lumley's place for one night. We could not stop then to talk about the excellent service we recieved and the absolutely lovely interior deco and lovely garden. We knew then that we will be back again! Yes I was there again this year with more members of my family and they all agreed it is the place to stay when you come to Stellenbosch.

Thanks for the lovely blessed review mrs Oluwa. Was lovely hosting you and your eldest the first time in 2013 and then again the whole family in 2014. Was good to meet the family. Proud and patient mother , yet it is not easy to see our kids off to University and leave them behind. Good luck to her with the studies. They are stronger than we think and we miss them more usually. God bless you in your ministry and travels. See you @lumleysplacebnb - soon

We stayed at Lumley's place on the 22nd, for just one night. We can not stop talking about how fantastic the experience was! Such humble, beautiful people, comfortable rooms with all that you could require, and magnificent food. Arguably the best fresh bread and jam I have ever tasted! We had a personal crisis at the same time, and Benita went out of her way to help us through what was a difficult incident. She was kind and understanding and clearly lives by her values. We would HIGHLY recommend Lumbley's place to anyone!

Dear Mr & Mrs Mitchel I am glad that I could assist, after all we are on earth to assist one another first and foremost. I do hope the gentlemen's health has improved. A pity you all could not stay for the long stay you have booked for your family but illness is not something we order. Am proud of our baker Joy who really knows her stuff when baking those scrumptious breads for winter. thanks for all the blessings and well wishes for our business. God bless and see you in Cape Winelands and at Lumley's Place again.

We stayed there for only one night, and were deeply impressed by the quality of services and breakfast.
The hotel is located in a quite village, which is not far away from some very nice wine farms and Stellenbosch town center.
