Reviewed 6 June 2012

We stayed here 3 nights after bodrum on our way back to Istanbul. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location, in a little old stone village next to Küçükkuyu is perfect, the view is amazing. The best place to relax and enjoy the tranquility from the terras, village square or private beach of the hotel.

Nice and romantic place but hard to find in a small village. Very good and solicitous service but people not speaking english. Nice place to take the dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable and clean rooms ottoman style.

Dear Mr. Mert D.
First of all thank you very much for your preference for Manici Kasri, evaluation and comments.

We are all very happy indeed that you had enjoyed your stay, sleep quality, cleanliness and the rooms. Our Hotel, Manici Kasri is well known with one of the leading accomodation places where the guests might feel themselves as if they are at their home during their stay. In order to be your home away home, all the details not only in the rooms but also within all the hotel area are designed and put into use in compliance with ongoing experiences, reviews, thoughts and comments of the sector initiatives, our guests. Being selected as one of Fodor's Choice is another result of our customer oriented service delivery, which made us very happy. We are very grateful to all our guests for this very honourable event.

Keeping enough firewood in the rooms is just the result of such experiences. In case it is thought to be insufficient, then we would be happy to supply more as it is also covered within the welcome pack in the rooms.

It will be our honour if we will be able to welcome you again at your home away home, Manici Kasri.

Thanks and Regards

The hotel was recommended by a friend of mine . It was excellent. Just a little note to trip advisor. I was surprised that the hotel was not listed in trip advisor list of hotels in kucukkuyu even though it had the best reviews in the region.

I absolutely loved my stay at Manici Kasri.

The whole experience was CHARMING. The room was romantic (even for a solo traveler) and very comfortable; the lobby and sitting areas were welcoming; the terraces, pools and pool house were beautiful and offered wonderfully serene views of the coast.

The staff was also extremely professional with the highest standards of service. They are a half-board facility and every breakfast and dinner was better than the previous one. I was in Turkey for 3 weeks, and this was truly one of the best experiences.

Excellent hote, beautiful ottoman architecture and decoration, exquisite cuisine and very helpful staff. It is really a good idea to have the half board, the food is excellent, are there is no place to eat at this standard 20km around.
We took the suite which I recommend: big bedroom connected with a spacious salon, a fireplace - and a magnificent view.
The hotel is situated in a preserved natural region and an authentic and beautiful village. It is the ideal place to relax.
The staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel as a gem for people who want to relax and have a good time.

Room Tip: The suite is excellent with a breathtaking view

We had booked the Manici Kasri in an attempt to avoid staying at the hotels that line the Aegean coast. The hotel is located in an absolutely charming village about 2 kms from the coast. Village life continues largely unaffected by the mass tourism that sits on the adjacent coast. We couldn't have chosen better. Our only disappointment being that the hotel "lost" our booking and being a weekend all the rooms in the main building were taken. We were given a 2 bedroom house about 75 metres from the hotel. It wasn't the main house but it was large and roomy and had character. We felt that we had been absorbed into village life for our 3 night stay.

We ate in the main restaurant - breakfast on a large terrace with sweeping views of the ocean. The buffet breakfast was truly amazing with an array of Turkish treats that had you coming back for more and more. Dinner was table d'hote and was served in an elegant dining room with great atmosphere and attentive service - their English matched our minimal Turkish, but with much smiling we muddled by. The other guests were all locals who seemed to be enjoying a weekend away.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the charm of its location - embedded in a most delightful village well away from the blandness of the hotels that lined the shore of the Aegean.
