This fascinating boutique hotel lies on the slopes of oxygen rich Ida Mountains. For foreigners it might be a hard reach as it's located in a small village called Yesilyurt. You reach the hotel driving through snaking narrow streets. But the minute you reach the hotel, you notice that it's well worth it. The rooms are decorated exclusively in rustic style. The special stone tiles were brought from Italy, and some of the wood pillars were taken from an old site and looked amazing. We spent our nights at the terrace that had a fantastic view of the Ida mountains and the sea at far sight. There were special rigged beds that make you feel like a queen. We really enjoyed having our drinks there while watching the starry skies.
The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was extraordinary with organic food, and the dinner was also excellent especially the starters.
There's a private beach that you can enjoy covered by olive trees and quite tranquil. The sea is amazing.
I would like to thank the owner Mrs. Yelda for the perfection. I highly recommend it to visitors. And hopefully would like to visit it again and again..

This hotel surpassed our expectations. The decorations are very tasteful. The rooms are beautifully designed to utmost comfort. The views are spectacular. We were sad that we only stayed one night. It is the type of place where you could just be inspired by the tranquility and write a book. The breakfast was amazing. The chef makes his own very tasty mascarpone cheese ("lor peyniri" in Turkish) and crisp breads. The waiters can be somewhat slow but they mean well. Overall this was a great find for us. We can't wait to try out the owners place in Urfa.

Room Tip: room 15 has amazing views of both the Ida mountains and the Aegean. room 12 is just by the water ca...

Stayed one night as a stop over whilst travelling to historical, archeological
and geological sites in Turkey. We wished we had booked for longer. The setting is amazing, so tranquil. The staff are attentive without being obtrusive. The hotel manager helped us arrange our ongoing travel by booking coach tickets for us. We were slightly worried due to the lack of English spoken, but we managed with my phrase book to start with, then he showed us what he was doing on the PC which has translation software. As he typed in Turkish it came up in English at the side, this was brilliant. Lovely large room, period furnished. Quality toiletries, slippers too. Comfy bed, bedding etc. you really feel in a special place here, a truly away from it all experience.
At first we thought we had made a gaff by not staying central to Assos for travel arrangements, in the end we didn't visit Assos. Our coach dropped us in Kuccukuylu at a taxi stand which we then took to the hotel, but we noted on leaving had we been dropped at the Otogar, there were taxis there too. Guests staying here will not be disappointed, an experience I will never forget.

Room Tip: No need to be choosy here, I am sure all the rooms are of same quality and look out at the beautiful...

This place was the last but definitely not the least surprising spot of our trip to Ayvalık and Ida mountains. What was intended to be a light brunch turned out to be a true feast. The starters are highly recomended and if you are a wine lover you must try Kayra Vintage 2006.

Crowned by an incredible terrace overlooking a green valley, this small hotel (only 16 rooms) is the best kept secret of the entire Aegean coast. In a tiny village (Yesilyurt) of stone houses on the foot slopes Mount Ida, it's like a hidden gem coming from medieval ages. Absolutely fascinating...
Private beach of the hotel decorated with olive trees is just 7-8 mins drive. Kucukkuyu, the sleepy little town of fishing port is less than 5 mins. If you want to explore around; Bozcaada (Tenedos Island), battlefields of Troia and Gallipoli, Altar of Zeus... All of them are very close.
Service, including the free guidance of moonlit nights, is perfect.

Wow, this inn is a beautiful in every way. You reach the place after a tricky and exciting drive through the very narrow streets of Yusilyurt village, and then you feel as if you've reached paradise. I think there are about ten rooms, but you really feel as if you are the only guest there, so pampered and cared for. Since we were hot and tired after the drive, we went for a dip in the beautiful spa pool and relaxed and enjoyed the amazing views. The pool area is beautifully furnished in a clean, contemporary way and there are many inviting areas to lounge in, indoors and outside.

The rooms are styled more traditionally and they are large and comfortable. It's difficult to believe that the building was not built years ago, since it has a charming atmosphere. Since nobody spoke much English and we only know about five words in Turkish, there was a slightly mysterious quality which only enhanced our experience. Service was excellent, the young man who did everything for us from carrying our bags, serving our meals, and checking us out, was friendly and attentive. Both dinner and breakfast were lavish and delicious, and we ate out on the beautiful stone terrace. Since both meals are included in the room price, this place is a great value.

The hotel had some electrical problems the night we stayed so unfortunately we got a 4am phantom phone call and the water pump stopped working altogether (no morning showers or even toilet flushing) but I assume that this is unusual and wouldn't happen again. I would definitely come back and recommend this inn for a wonderful romantic getaway.
