Room very clean and well equipped...one small critisism pillows hard and was no duvet but a blanket..maybe because it was a standard room but we were not told this. For the price of the stay we would have expected a duvet..thought blankets went out a long time ago.Room had a balcony but access blocked off for maintainence..pity as would have liked to air room.Stayed 2 nights for wedding at the hotel.Breakfast had plenty of choice but hot food served to you,not self service.Staff very helpful and friendly.Quite pricey but was a treat to stay in such a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a duvet if you prefer that to a blanket.

Thank you for reviewing us after your recent stay at Park Farm Hotel.

I am pleased to see that you had a lovely stay whilst with us. We do have blankets in some bedrooms to stay in keeping with the décor that specific room has to offer. We would have been more than happy to have supplied you with a duvet should you have asked for this on check in.

Here at Park Farm Hotel we have an on-going refurbishment scheme to keep the Hotel at the high standards we set ourselves. We do try to keep our guests away from any disturbance but on a busy night this isn't always possible. Please accept my apologies on this occasion for the restricted use of your balcony.

We hope to welcome you back again very soon.

A great stay in beautiful surroundings! Very helpful staff. Room was lovely and clean and the spa was fantastic! One small criticism was that the serve yourself breakfast was actually served to you, you were not able to help yourself to the hot food. Either it's self service or it's served to the table, this seemed as though people were not trusted to be moderate with the food.

Thank you for your positive review after your recent stay with us. I am pleased to see that you found our surroundings enhanced your experience.

We do indeed have a member of staff serving the hot breakfast to our guests. This is not done to try and moderate the food taken, but as we feel this is a more professional approach to breakfast service and maintains the level of service we pride ourselves on throughout the other areas of the hotel.

Guests are welcome to return for additional servings should they require it and we do not impose any restrictions on the amount of food taken.

I do hope this goes some way to explain why our breakfast service is operated in this manner.

Again thank you for your feedback and we shall hope to welcome you back soon.

Kind regards
Michael Bannister

My wife and I stayed for two nights here. We had Sunday lunch - The food was okay. The service focused and good. The environment and room excellent. We used pool and Gym and enjoyed both. Staff efficient and helpful. The breakfast choice wide and enjoyable. Along with the setting. Plenty of car parking. Only 10-15 minutes’ drive to Norwich.

Room Tip: A room at rear with auto door access up to 11pm helps as it has a small car park at rear/side.

We went just for the Restaurant but the setting is very nice and quioet with goos leisure facilties.
We had the 3 / 2 course set price menu which was offered with a reasonable chioce and one has to say was very tasty but probably a little high on the sodium to make it so. Starter , which I had, was just as described above and so was the main ( Duck) with one carrot a small block of Dauphinoise potatoes which necessitated soaking up the gravy with the bread to bulk up the content. My pudding was fine but the other half fondue chocolate arrived whic a solid sponge centre and fondue. The staff instantly aoplogised and changed it, also refunding a less discerning adjacent diner who had eaten it without complaint. The other half's meal of liver and sausage was very good and more generous on the portion size, but vegetables were in that case, extra.
The final disapointment was a charge for a 250 ml glass of wine which was in fact 125 ml and once again there was an apology and instant adjustment.
Sadly , despite the attention to detail which was excellent, and very good customer service , once the error had been noted , the venue in consequence just missed the mark and was not particularly cheap.

Room Tip: Any I suspect would be good but the pool did smell of chlorine outside so perhaps a room not quite so near to the leisure complex

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your valuable feedback after your recent dinner with us.

I am glad to see you enjoyed our rural setting and well equipped leisure facilities. I am however concerned to read that ultimately you were left feeling disappointed with your meals.

Our restaurant has been awarded a rosette for the quality of our food and we often receive extremely positive feedback from other diners. It is a shame that you experienced some small mistakes while dining with us but I can assure you this is not normal practice at Park Farm Hotel and for this I can only apologise.

On a positive note I am pleased to see that our great customer service shone through and I trust that should you dine with us again you would see a marked improvement more inline with the high standards we set ourselves.

Again thank you for your time and we shall hope to welcome you back in the future.

Kind regards

I use this a Hotel for both business and pleasure. Very accommodating and professional staff, good food and atmosphere. Miles apart from the so called 'chain hotels' in Norwich. Lovely rural setting and hard to believe it is just a short drive from the City of Norwich. If you want it done the right way, this Hotel will not disappoint.

It is such a joy to see our business customers using us for leisure breaks as well.

Your valuable feedback is really appreciated, and it is good to see that our friendly but professional approach is well received.

We pride ourselves on our individuality and being an independently owned hotel we have no chain to answer to. We find this gives us freedom to explore ways of thinking that certain chains are not free to do and ultimately provide a superior quality of service.

Again thank you for taking the time to leave us your review and I trust we shall welcome you back soon.

Kind regards
