We are platinum members of the Marriott group.
We had our wedding here in December.
We can not understand what people are moaning about.
It would appear that many people forget that is was not a purpose built Marriott hotel.
It was a Manor that was brought over by Marriott.
It does not have air-conditioning because they can not, the manor is a listed building and thus no air con.
The rooms have fans in them, which is the same as all of have at home... Why do people then feel the need moan and groan about this?
Do they have air con's in their homes? If they are like the 95% of the UK households they do not.
Talk about double standards here people... get a grip.
It is well laid out and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
You are never called 'Mate or chap'.
It is always, 'Sir or Madame'
We had our wedding here as we love the feel of this chic but old manor.
The wedding planner, Sarah Hyde and the Banqueting supervisor Paul worked together very well and helped us fine tune our day.
