This was our first visit to Stoke Mill which is situated in Stoke Holy Cross just outside Norwich. The restaurant itself is fantastically located and is steeped in history and the interior and exterior of the restaurant are superb. The food was very good but I would hesitate to say excellent but we all felt the menu choice was superb, I would just stop short of saying the food was excellent though. However the presentation and service was very impressive and they had a fabulous wine list. We felt however that the price was very reasonable and we would not hestiate to come back, we had heard people saying that oit was too loud or cramped but we did not feel this at all and we did dine out on a Saturday night. All in all we all felt this was welk worth the trip for a special occasion
