Excellent hotel, with the owners being very welcoming, although they were very busy over the weekend, and they opened the small dining room, we did not feel abandoned by the staff.

Nothing was a problem for any of the staff

Food, simple but fresh and absolutely gorgeous.

We have just stayed in the Old rectory with friends and our sons, The hotel
is nice, the rooms are a good size a little dated but Very clean.
The hotel grounds are very pretty, the pool was wonderful, we had a nice swim, after
being on the broads all day, it was lovely and warm in the water.
The Hotel staff was very helpful also. The breakfast was super.
I would recommend this hotel and a visit to the broads, great day out and a fab hotel
to relax in after.

Our stay at the old rectory was only short but we wished we could have stayed longer. Arriving at the hotel was a pleasant surprise, the grounds looked fantastic and in good order. The small Rectrory building hides a lovely restuarnt and a large bedroom corridor, totally hidden from the front. My husband is not too good on his feet and we were delighted when, with out prompting, the receptionist offered us a room closer to reception. A gesture that would have been overlooked in larger hotels. Everyone was helpful, well informed and friendly. Just as you would expect from a family run business and more. The rooms were spacious and clean with excellent facilities. Evening meals have been a problem for us in the past as we have allergies but nothing was too much trouble. Every meal we had was delicious. All in all we felt very well looked after and wished we could stay a few more days

The staff at the Old Rectory Hotel, Crostwick were very attentive in their efforts to make our short stay very pleasant. Much more so than you might expect for the very reasonable room & breakfast rate.

They quickly made the swimming pool ready so my daughter could have a swim.

Although simple fare, dinner was prepared to a high standard and was very tasty. When I asked for fruit at breakfast, a huge platter of many varieties was brought.

As we were leaving it rained heavily, so they put out a set of golf umbrellas so we could stay dry while loading the car.

It's always lovely when your expectations are exceeded.
