“Couldn't Be Happier”

My partner and I recently ran a course at this beautiful hotel, bringing a group from Australia for the purpose of teaching Reiki Level 1. We used one of the huge deluxe rooms for the training which worked beautifully. There was plenty of room and being placed in the quietest corner of this tranquil hotel it was like we were in our own piece of paradise. The owners Richard and Tini and their friendly staff couldn't have been more helpful and they catered to our every need. They provided morning tea and a buffet traditional Balinese lunch for us on the days of the course and we couldn't have asked for better food - it was amazingly good! This hotel was the perfect venue to run a course of this nature, it was so good, we have decided to run another course there in October. Thank you Richard, Tini and staff for all of your help and support.

I was lucky enough to have stayed at Rambutan Boutique Hotel in Lovina for 10 amazing nights in May this year. If you want peace and quiet you have it on hand. The hotel is set amongst a beautiful garden with various ponds throughout. There are two pools to relax by which I did a bit of. The food and rooms were quite tasty and comfortable in that order. If you don't wish to wander to far you don't need too as all your needs will be catered for on site.
There is a spa within the grounds, of which there were plenty of treatments to be had. Body scrubs, massage, facials manicures and pedicures. All of which I recommend. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful with any request. Our hosts were Tini and Richard and for owners they were very present at their own hotel. This is wonderful to see and they could not do enough for us. We were just off the main road and a short walk to the beach, the boats (for dolphin watching and diving), there is some shopping on the strip as well. Also plenty of local restaurants. All of which were quite tasty and welcoming. Plenty to choose from. All in all a wonderful escape venue. Thanks to our hosts Tini and Richard and of course all the staff involved with keeping the place flowing. I will be back. Sue M

I stayed at the Rambutan Boutique Hotel in Lovina for 10 nights in May 2014. It was one of the most peaceful holidays I have ever experienced and I am so grateful to Richard and Tini (the hotel owners) and all of their friendly staff for their wonderful hospitality.
The hotel has the most beautifully designed and immaculately kept gardens with water features, an array of lush plants, flowers, statues and ponds giving a lovely peaceful feeling.
There are two swimming pools both with plenty of shade or sunny areas for those who like to sunbathe.
The restaurant is centrally located loooking out over the main pool and gardens and serves clean delicious food.
The rooms are charming balinese style with stone bathrooms, spacious and clean, and have a lovely outlook over the gardens.
Free wifi is available all over the hotel for those who want to keep in touch.
The Rambutan is in a great location walking distance to the beach and jetty, spas, restaurants and shops.
During my stay we were very fortunate to attend a Hindhu ceremony/celebration with Tini and Richard, who generously invited us to join them and their family members. Tini even gave us some her own traditional clothes to wear, it was a very special experience.
If you want to take in some of the amazing sites in and around Lovina, the staff at Rambutan are very accomodating and can organise drivers, and trips at reasonable prices.
The cooking class at Rambutan is a must for anyone with a love for traditional balinese food. The ladies who take it are very friendly, and amazing cooks.
For animal lovers there are plenty of birds in the gardens, 3 resident ducks who have their own pond and 3 gorgeous dogs.
If you are looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle, I cannot recommend anywhere better than this the Rambutan Boutique Hotel.
Once again a huge thanks to Richard and Tini for an incredibly peaceful holiday. I can't wait to come back.

We had 10 nights in May, there were 4 adults. 2 of us have stayed there before. We all loved the Rooms, Gardens, the Spa the Staff, location, service and anything else I may have missed out. I couldn't fault Rambutan.
This is why my partner and I think this is our favourite place to stay in Bali. Peaceful and relaxing are a couple of other things I missed.
Richard and Tini were great hosts and helped set up some extra requests without any fuss. Eni at reception was a delight to deal with, happy and friendly. Mas seems to rule the restaurant and makes the best Cappucinos.
It is wonderful saying good morning to the gardeners and be greated with smiles and Selamat Pagi's.
We seemed to have converted our 2 friends to have Rambutan as a must stay option when they come back to Bali.
We all did the cooking course with Dewi and Penny, great food and wonderful to learn some simple tasty dishes.
We are returning in July in a group of 6 people. We are looking forward to a repeat experience.
Thanks again to Rambutan

This hotel offers an excellent experience at an incredibly reasonable cost. The rooms are huge and very clean with huge balconies or terraces. The grounds are beautifully kept, everything is well spread out making it feel very relaxing. The main pool is infront of the dining room surrounded by recliners and a few large shaded lounging constructions - very comfortable; this pool has a good shallow end for young children to play. there is a smaller pool too. The grounds can't be faulted and can provide a relaxing day without venturing out. Breakfast is good - try the pancakes, dinner is good too, wine is expensive in Indonesia but there are some good Australians offered here much cheaper than at other hotels.. The staff are outstanding, really friendly, happy and helpful. The hotel is on a small track off the main road and only 200m from the beach - not noteworthy. There are several good bars by the beach most offering happy-hour cocktails 2 for 1, also several good small local restaurants where you can eat very well for very little - you should try one if you are there a few days. A trip on Saturday to the market in Singaradja is well worth the effort if you like colourful local events - the stall holders are really friendly. The hotel spa offers really good treatments at very good prices. If you go to this part of North Bali then this hotel takes some beating.

Room Tip: Upper rooms are a little more private, the balconies are huge.

The hotel is just off the main road that runs around the coast. It' easy to find. There was however no traffic noise, and the quiet side road it's on leads down to the beach (200 metres). The immediate beach here is not much to write home about (apart from the lovely sunsets whilst sipping a beer a local bar) but you pass some excellent cheap fish restaurants on the way.
Our double room had a large king size bed as well as one single. It was a bit dated, but clean and spacious. The room was beside a small swimming pool, away from the main pool. We had this pool mostly to ourselves. The sun beds and sheltered rest places with cushions, soft mattresses etc were very comfortable place to read/rest/sleep/whatever.
The English/ Aussie owner was friendly, visible and helpful. As with other hotels they will do your laundry. But unlike a lot of others their charges are very reasonable- about the same as the laundry next door.

We are half way through our 10 night stay and absolutely love it. Our room is clean, breakfast is one of the best and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have stayed in Lovina a few times now and this is the best. The position is also great as everything is close by to restaurants and shopping, and a couple of minutes to the beach - usually we stay on the beach.
