This hotel is a real gem!
The owners are very friendly and helpful, they will help you to organise the best activities at the best price. We paid half the price of the agency in town when they helped us organise a diving excursion. The food is in my opinion the best in all of Lovina so no need to look for restaurants :) The location is beautifully set just at the beach and the shadowy garden is like a dream. Best value for money. Thank you Guss and Norman!!

We spent 3 nights here from 26th December to 29th December and loved it! We stayed room 4 in the corner, the room is starting to show its age, the water pressure is hopeless but the aircon works well, bed is comfy and the rooms are clean.
The thing that makes this hotel is the fantastic personalised service from Gus, nyoman and all the staff.
The restaurant is fantastic, we ate every meal there except lunch on one day which we had while on a tour and I came down with terrible Bali belly! I now wish we didn't go on the tour and only ate at the hotel. Gus even bought green tea especially for me!
We did a snorkelling tour of menjangan island, a driving tour of the north of Bali and organised a dolphin tour with nyoman. Unfortunately I was too ill to go on the dolphin tour so will have to do that again next time! We would definitely stay here again.

Thanks villa agung!

Booked a one night's stay here to go on the wild dolphin watch. Took the tour organised by the motel as the one booked by our driver was more expensive. It was so convenient as we had to wake up at the crack of dawn. Walked down the beach from the motel's restaurant to the beachside, a short stroll to the left and we were right by the boat that takes us for the tour.

We arrived after sunset; nearly missed the signboard to the motel. One side of the motel faces the paddy fields, while the restaurant faces the ocean front. Despite being right on the oceanfront the night was quite humid and you still need the air-conditioner and fan.

Though homey, the rooms are showing signs of wear and tear. The ceiling fan in our room is a bit noisy. Loved the Balinese design shower area.

We arrived just before 8pm, and was advised to go down to the restaurant as soon as possible if we want to have dinner as the kitchen was closing. The food was very good esp. the lime chicken set. Chose the pancake set for breakfast the next morning after the dolphin tour.

The owner was very friendly; the staff (if not mistaken his name is Nyoman) as well and also helpful (arranged the dolphin tour for us as well as gave us some useful tips).

It was very peaceful lying on the lounge chair with the seabreeze in your face and hearing the waves. Wished we had more time there just to laze around and explore more of Lovina.

After 8 years away from Bali I went back this year... and I was quite disappointed: crowds of people, costly, dirty and under performing hotels but Villa Agung was, luckily, the exception. I had already been there on my previous trip to Bali I had decided to go back there to find relax in a friendly environment. I was not disappointed. Strongly recommended (unless you looking for noise, cheap western food and discos...)

Villa Agung at Anturan is my home away from home. It is my perfect peaceful getaway in Bali or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Absolute beachfront with snorkelling at the front door, swimming in clear water, and nearby fishing villages to explore. Everything you need passes by on the beach - massage, clothes repair, manicure and relaxed shopping with wonderful local people. Take the time to get to know the locals here and you will be rewarded. Gus, Sandy and Nyoman are wonderful hosts, taking care of every need and offering the personal touch. The staff are relaxed and friendly and the rooms spotlessly clean. The restaurant on site provides excellent food all day and the guest lounge has views to die for. I felt very special in my Little Cottage and can't wait to return with my children.

Room Tip: Choose any room - you can't go wrong.

This is, in one wort, our 10 days experience in this fine inn. What a place to be. After the hectic of Surabaya and Malang we (sometimes just the two of us sometimes with 15 other family between 2 and 82 yeas old) hat a great time at Villas Agung. Not only the beautiful environment but most certainly the unbelievable hospitality and service. The staff and the hosts Gus and Sandy made us feel God in Bali. The food the sunrise and sunsets do make you feel ever so happy. Thank you so much and we will be back soon.

Room Tip: Just call and ask the hosts for the possibilities. You will not regret it. All rooms are OK and have...
