We walked up from Horton on a not particularly nice day. There were some great views on the way up, but unfortunately for us the top was covered in cloud. The last half mile or so is quite steep in places with hands needed in a couple of places. After taking lunch at the top we continued round and back down to Horton. Overall the climb was more difficult & tiring than we had anticipated but was well worth the effort. We will have to do it again on a better day as the views would be breathtaking from it's vantage point over the area.

Loved it. This was a fast first peak that hid the truth of how hard the challenge actually is. But, with that being said, my gf and I both thoroughly enjoyed it.

walked the yorkshire 3 peaks as a work challenge. Hardest thing I have ever done but pleased it is now completed. Could see when at the top as weather was so bad

One of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare so try to get there early in peak season. We parked at the rear of a pub close to the start of the trail. There was an honesty box to put a couple of quid in, but other than that, no charge. The walk itself took us about 3 hours at a leisurely pace. Some steep areas on climb for the pooch. But no real problems!
