This venue is not far from where we live. Restaurant setting in a lovely spot. It is on the Cairn O Mount road. Beautiful scenery. Staff were very friendly. Lunch menu varied and lovely homemade cakes. My husband an I would certainly go back.

“tea and cakes”
Reviewed 15 February 2014

Absolutely great place to have a rest and a bite to eat when walking in this beautiful area. Also great for bike riders (motor or cycle) as just by cairn-o-mount. Service is great and range of sandwiches and cakes fab. Something for everyone.

We discovered this tearoom on a scenic drive in the area and decided to take a look....it was lovely, quiet and comfortable. Food was very nice and service very attentive. I would recommend a stop if you are in the area. I will definetely visit again next year......

“Fantastic food, excellent service!”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is a family favourite restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic - homemade and always super fresh! Last visited a month ago with my Mum and Granny. I had macaroni cheese with chips - delicious! The others had scampi and chips and fish and chips both of which were freshly cooked and really tasty (the homemade tartar sauce was great). Portions were very generous but we all managed to find room for a pudding! 2 sticky toffee puddings which were lovely with plenty of toffee sauce! And a clootie dumpling - again excellent.

Thoroughly recommend this place - it may be a little bit off the beaten track but it's well worth it. The scenery nearby is lovely too. They also cater for gluten free which is a huge bonus. We will definitely be back! 5 stars!

“A great stop in a beautiful part of Scotland”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

So much better than the usual roadside stops, this quaint little restaurant in a lovely glen provides great service, indoor or outdoor seating and first class fare. Sit and watch pheasants strutting through the beautiful foliage in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet.
