“Nairobi to Hoedspruit with three kids”

Lovely shady spot for my tent and, although basic, clean comfortable stable accommodation for children and their mum. Cake with our tea a real treat after a hard push from Mozi and hours on the road. Absolutely magical atmosphere created by lamps in the mud ruin restaurant. A delicious three course dinner. Shared ablutions spotless with hot showers. I loved that we had a covered area in which to cook and enjoy our next dinner, out of the rain. Thank you.

We stayed in the Old Farm House with our children on our way to and from Ruaha National Park. The Old Farm House is a quiet place with helpful and friendly staff. The family cottages are large, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The food served at dinner and breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Our children enjoyed staying near a farm where they could visit the cattles and sheeps and we enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds with them.
In July and August it gets very cold at night and in the morning. Coming from Dar es Salaam, it is nice to sleep under a duvet. The staff made sure we had plenty of wood for hot showers and a nice fire.

The Old Farm House just south of Iringa is really a very welcoming place. Everything is clean, the showers are hot, the staff is very friendly. At the reception they sell fresh produce. I'll keep this place in mind for future trips.

this is the best place to stay around Iringa. It is located on theroad iringa-mbeya, about 50 km south of Iringa. It is good for camping, staying in the beautiful cottages or only having breakfast or lunch while travelling. Food is very good, tasty and healthy, staff is kind and very well trained. It is also possible to buy meat/eggs/vegetables from the local farm.

The cottages are decorated with much tast and great attention to the sourrounding environemnt. stayed there many times and always enjoyed!

We stayed in the lovely intimate cottage in June 2013 and it was a real treat. The cottage is large, private, very comfortable and offers a lounge, a very comfy large bed (with a mozzy net), and an en-suite bathroom with bath and lots of hot water - great after the long drive from Arusha. We were delighted to get back to our cottage after dinner to find a cozy open fire had been lit making for a warm, romantic and special end to the evening. The dinner was exceptional, fresh, tasty and the best meal we have had after several years traveling through East Africa. We requested an early breakfast which was delivered to the cottage by the watchman so we could get away before dawn. There is an electric fence around the property making for a very safe and secure stay. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The private cottage is away from the rest of the camp and camp grounds ideal for couples.

Stayed here with an overland tour group in June 2012. This was a great little surprise for our group and more than expected from previous campgrounds, amenities clean and a great hot shower which was needed, camp grounds clean and comfortable for our group. Bar area very welcoming and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderfully quaint campsite with clean and fresh smelling facilities that were a treat to an otherwise tortured nasal passage :)

The beds were comfortable and clean with white quilts and nets.

The bar is cozy and friendly. A great place to stay when doing a road trip through Tanzania.
