We stumbled on this place while exploring the coast south of Porto Covo and decided to try it because we were really hungry. We didn't expect much but this turned out to be the best restaurant of our vacation in Portugal. We returned two times. Things we tried: a green bean soup, cooked beef (my favorite), grilled fish, an excellently grilled chicken, a cheese and tomato salad, and some of the deserts. The deserts were too sweet for my taste but the Portuguese seem to like it that way. They also had fantastic looking cakes but we were more interested in the hearty stuff. They seem to have a large selection of wines but we didn't try any. The prices were moderate and the service friendly. Very pleasant experience.
