“Amazing views and friendly hosts.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2012

Our daughters' booked the Panorama as a Christmas present including a performance at the Minack Theatre. Although the groundfloor bedroom seemed on the small side, it was clean and had everything that was necessary for our stay. The ensuite shower was a good size and clean.
The dining room and a comfortable visitors lounge were upstairs. Both had fantastic/breathtaking views across Newlyn Harbour, Penzance and Mounts Bay. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and gave good tips about when to leave for the Minack and what to do when we got there. The Panorama is an very good place to stay when visiting West Cornwall and it is nice to have somewhere safe to park as well. I would recommend it to others visiting the area.

I agree with all the previous good reviews and it 's so rare to find accommodation , who accept dogs, to be the same standard as without. Lovely friendly welcome, lovely living room and lovely views (as long as no fog ). Will be back

I stayed at the Panorama whilst attending a course over the road at the Newlyn school of art. Very handy!
Linda was very welcoming and the promised view across the bay exceeded my expectations. The room was comfy, with a well stocked tea tray, warm duvet, good t.v.,hot and controllable shower, minor negatives were the dim lighting in the en-suite (a light over the basin would be good) and the cold vinyl floors - the odd rug here and there would not go amiss.
The breakfast choice was great, well cooked and hearty and the lounge cosy and again being on the first floor boasting some great views. interesting selection of books available to peruse.
Would not hesitate to stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for corner room on ground floor

We stayed two nights this weekend having really enjoyed our stay a year ago while visiting to see a production at the Minack Theatre. This is a most friendly guest-house and we were made to feel very welcome. It has the most glorious views imaginable over Newlyn harbour and over towards Penzance, especially while eating the most delicious breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and Lynda & Rob are very friendly and welcoming hosts - I can't speak highly enough of this guest-house.

Linda met us at the door as we parked the car,she introduced herself and took us straight to our room, which was on the ground floor, because of the elevation of the property we had great views over Penzance and st.michaels mount, she showed us around and explained how the shower worked and pointed out all the little extras,in the bathroom...shower gel, cotton buds, face cleansing pads, moist wipes, heated towel rail(for nice warm towels) In the bedroom......a selection of teas and coffees, biscuits and PLENTY of milk and cream,a nice touch,a couple of chocolates.linda then took us upstairs and showed us the lovely sitting area, complete with telescope, the views were fantastic, the breakfast room is also on this level with a similar vista...talking of breakfast,a veritable feast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, then to follow a huge choice,we had the full English which kept us going all day,it seemed nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, they had a lot of knowledge to impart to all their guests.would highly recommend this guest house.
