Trevorrow House was a good place to stay. The house was lovely and clean. The owner has gone to a lot of trouble to furnish it and it showed. There are some nice touches. We all felt very much at home there. The communal bathroom and en-suite were modern and fresh. The kitchen was a great place to gather in the morning and the facilities were of a high standard. I enjoyed cooking there. Great selection of leaflets and books on Cornwall. Plenty of boardgames for the kids to play. When we were there, there was no wi-fi but the cafe in the art gallery a couple of doors down had it so it was a good excuse to go and have a look at the paintings. There are a fair few shops within about a minute's walk and Penzance and Mousehole are not that far.

The sofa had a bit of trouble with it's springs on the left hand side but on the whole, it wasn't bad at all. You can hear the traffic passing by, but at night it gets very quiet. Parking, as someone said earlier was a bit of a challenge; the house is on a busy road. To the left of the house is a narrow drive where a car can fit but you might have to let any passengers out before you park. Reversing out of the space, you have to be careful as you're backing out onto a busy road but the other drivers are really courteous and wait paitently for you. If you don't feel comfortable parking there, there's a street behind the houses opposite where you can leave your car safely.

We would happily stay there again.

A comfortable, well equipped house with interesting local literature in the bookcase. The house was spacious and clean. The showers looked great but tended to run hot then cold. However there was also a bath.
The owners dealt promptly and efficiently from the initial query to the sending of the house key to my home address. I found the busy main road which the house is on to be the only drawback. A plus is the nearby Art Gallery which makes great coffee in an upstairs cafe overlooking the sea.
Newlyn lovely and full of character.

Loved Newlyn. Property nice and central. But on noisy main road and parking is a challenge, Great kitchen but sitting room needs attention. TV too small. Sofa springs broken. Showers need fixing. They run hot then cold etc. Beds fine. I would stay here again but it could be even better.
