This place is billed as somewhere Meridanos drive out to for Sunday lunch and it is easy to see why. An authentic atmosphere under a huge palapa style roof, with fans fixed to the beams whirring away. Sitting there in hot midday sunlight it oozed with the feel of small town Mexico. We had a beef and a pork dish, possibly the only time the meat we ate had not been marinated and shredded to pulp. It was so good that we risked a dessert of plums soaked in syrup. It was all tasty, portions were typically generous and prices typically reasonable..
