I was here for two weeks on my own, some work and some play, and found this place very welcoming. A lovely warm atmosphere, the guys in charge are hospitable and very inclusive, people sit outside at the tables in the sun most days and talk. Informal but no pressure to take part in things, I was able to lock myself and work when I needed to, and join in the fun when I wanted to. It's a really secluded place but very beautiful and is based around the historical significance of Vuk Karadzic, so many of the properties around are in traditional 18/19th Century style. Good walks to nearby village,s the monastery and stunning countryside. Highly recommended.

Konak Misic is situated in the heart of a protected historical complex, in the village Trsic, birth place of Vuk Karadzic.
There are not many rooms in offer, which is actually good. I recommend you to book "vajat", kind of appartment separate from the main house.
You have to visit monastery Tronosa, walking for 5km, following the same path of young Vuk Karadzic going to school in the same monastery.

Room Tip: Choose so called "vajat" (kind of appartment dislocated from the main house).

Very nice place for a weekend or a stop between Belgrade and Sarajevo. Great walk to Tronosa monastery, seeing some interesting historical sites (WWI battlegrounds, the birthplace of Vuk Karadzic), good traditional food cooked for you by the family and a spa nearby. Contact Pedja Misic or Konak Misic Trsic, they are on Facebook too so it is easy to book!
